Friendly staff, fast service, great food

I had to edit this review to add to it as I felt that it wasn't the whole truth.

1st contact: staff: from the phone I was greeted with and I asked for a table for three. While they were in a busy period of the day, they squeezed us in also. I called short of the time of our arrival. Great person handling the phone reservations!

The waiter was good in helping us choose food for our kid and us and they even recommended the non-alcoholic gin and prosecco, since we drove there. It was a pleasant surprise to drink something else then water or soft drinks when driving out to a restaurant!

Food: Mamma Mia!!! Piu bella esperientza!

We had pasta, beef with porcini mushrooms and another dish with veal. Portions are great, but the taste is fantastico! We enjoyed a splendid meal with tastes that were blending with the fine atmosphere. We left the plates almost dry!

I had a truly wonderful experience at Il Vilagio in the heart of Bucharest. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm atmosphere and elegant décor. The food is absolutely delicious – fresh ingredients, beautifully cooked, and full of flavor. Every dish we tried was a delight. The service was excellent as well: fast, attentive, and very friendly, without being intrusive. It’s rare to find a place where everything comes together so well – tasty food, quick service, and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. If you are in Bucharest and looking for a restaurant that combines authentic flavors with great hospitality, I highly recommend Il Vilagio. Definitely a place I will return to...

What I loved about this place was first of all the location, it's set in a quiet area which is definitely a nice to have when enjoying a weekend lunch or dinner. Secondly, the food - it is absolutely delicious, reminding you in a way of the Italian dishes. I love the fact that the salad I ordered was not pre-seasoned with oil, but with sour cream (much healthier option).
