Trattoria Adagio — Restaurant in Bucharest

My husband and I travel to Romania each year and we always stop by this specific restaurant. The management changed this year, and we just love what they are doing with the place! I ordered my favorite pizza with prosciutto, arugula and parmesan cheese: it was exquisite! But when I saw the presentation of my husband's Tagliatele al Salmone, I couldn't resist, so I had a bite (or maybe two) and it tasted like heaven...literally. Not to mention the chocolate crepes which are a Must! The ambiance was lovely and the service top notch. They really made us feel at home and made sure we were happy.

The atmosphere is good. The only dishes we liked was "tagliatelle ala bolognese", "pizza margarita" and "lasagna al forno". Carbonara was not tasty, something was missing. Caesar salad was a beautiful plate, but the chicken was warmed again, as a result it was burned outside and gave a bad taste. A breath of fresh air amid all the fast food and junk food around Piata Romana. I ordered chiken breast with asparagus and a tiramisu. All wonderful, simple, tasty, not too salty, not too dry, not too oily, just correct. Tiramisu exactly how it should be, only the basic ingredients, with just the right texture and proportions of ingredients, no fancy anything, no sprinkles or anything that usually just ruins it.
