Aut Bistro — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

Nice place, I visited it few times since opening and definitely can recommend it. Food is great, and waiters are very sweet 🥰

My favourite is Baba Ganoush — I normally don’t enjoy aubergines, but this one is good — not a sign of bitterness. Carrots cake is awesome! They do it with tahini cream, and this dessert is not sweet, but flavourful. And this weekend Aut started to serve breakfast, shakshuka is perfect!!! Frittata is fine, I just prefer less healthy options for breakfast in a caffe. For dessert I recommend matcha tiramisu, really well-balanced. Bugaca is quite comfy, works great when you fancy something simple, but joyful.

Portions are good, and most of dishes are designed to be shared (I usually bring friends here). So it is good everyday place for any occasion, from breakfast to dates.

Btw, coffee is a specialty one, from ‘Hotel Belgrade’ roasters.

Our first breakfast in Belgrade and it was great! I am a very picky eater and a difficult customer 😅. I asked to remove some stuff from my dish and the waiter helped me resolve this by actually finding a better substitute. He also really knew the menu well and was very helpful with drinks. So: My Salmon Benedict sandwich came just perfect! I rarely finish my food, but I didn’t leave a crumble from my plate! Not basic, interesting and balanced taste and of course the most important - perfectly boiled egg 👏

My husband’s cold Gaspaco soup was also satisfactory.

Coffee is very good and the green tea kambucia was amazing!! Not too sweet, very refreshing and without this strong taste kick off you sometimes have from this drink.
