Restaurant Monument — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

Steak was fine but they did not give us choices how we'd like to have our steak. We would've wanted it medium rare but what was served was well-done. We wanted to order ribeye and t-bone steak but was told they're not available. Then, we asked to explain what rozbratna is but waiter was not even sure what it was, went to the frontdesk to ask and came back to tell us ribeye is available but they only have it per kilo, far too different from what was on the menu.

We also ordered pasta bolognese. It was fine but the pasta was a bit undercooked.

While waiter was waiting to get our orders, me and my partner were talking which we should get alternatively since most of their steaks from the menu were not available.

Waiter was rude when I blurted out a Serbian phrase to my partner. Waiter laughed sarcastically. They need to be trained more.

Ambiance was good, and perfect to for afternoon relaxation. They should modify their menu to think they are a fining dining restaurant. Servers/Waiters should know what their menu is and be trained how to act professionally and always be at reach whenever a customer needs assistance.

Hope they'll improve their menu and hospitality and professionalism towards their guests next...

We came with my husband for a lunch, I ordered salmon pasta, started eating and found in my plate a metal piece from the metal sponge that is used for cleaning !!! This is unbelievable! Veeery very questionable about the hygiene in that “restaurant”, it can’t even be called a restaurant! I was absolutely shocked… Moreover, I AM PREGNANT, so it’s not only my health that is in line but also a baby !!!! This is a huge mistake and the “restaurant” had no reaction on that situation, the waiter just swallowed his mouth. I do understand it’s not his fault, but at least it should have been taken to a higher manager. The least that they could have done is make our bill totally free of charge (which wasn’t a lot), but they weren’t smart enough to do that! I find it very, very disrespectful and believe that sanitary inspection must check this place !!! Our family definitely will never go to this so called restaurant again, same as to all other Monument restaurants in town. And I suggest to all of you the same,...

Service is slow. Some food is great some isn’t, depends on the preferences, but it’s unbelievable that in some Monumet restaurant locations they serve some things from the menu till certain hours and in other locations is different. I adore their stuffed salty pancakes, but I suppose I should know in which location they serve them in certain time so I could eat what I like!? This is a third time I’m not served with what I like so I tried different things which mostly I didn’t like. I Lost patience and I’m not coming here again. Either this restaurant is with the same name and menu at all locations or they should point out the differences. Simply confusing and annoying and unnecessary complication which leaves me without the meal I came for for a third...
