Sakura Restaurant — Restaurant in City of Belgrade

the food quality, freshness and composition is excellent but the personnel is low level. i've been 4 times and first, without reservation but luch time (around 13-14 o'clock) which in serbia is very early and restaurants are pretty empty BUT all tables had the sign 'reserved' (and i have to say this is typically serbian bad and common use) but in fact is not true. restaurant was empty when i arrived and also when i left after my lunch. but the always push you to seat at the 'bar' small tables.. which is not fair, nor comfortable as the 'restaurant' area tables. las time, i even booked a table for 4 persons, when arrived, they wanted to give us (2 adults and 1 child) a 2 person small table !!!?? when the restaurant area was completeley FREE when arrived and also when we left! this is totally unprofessional and reflects the low quality of the personnel. the only reason why i would go again in this restaurant is just because of the kitchen quality but a very bad and unprofessional waiters and i guess...

Lively restaurant that we have tried on a Saturday evening. They have a very nice show with performers, singers, dancers and then a DJ for the whole night. The atmosphere is really good. The food was quite good until the dessert which was not good (the mango sticky rice has to be done differently, no taste, cold and not enough mango). Regarding the service it’s a mixed feeling, we arrived early around 20h15 and the way we were welcomed and served at the beginning was not at the level expected for such an upscale place (no one at the reception, no one to take our coats, no one to bring us the menus for more than 10mn at our table, all waiters chatting around between them in the restaurant - probably because most guests arrive later but still does not look too good for other guests). After a while the service improved as one waiter was allocated to our table and it was fine until the end of the night. I still recommend the place for the good atmosphere but some improvements...

Super ambient, good service and food was excelent but overpriced. We had for dinner 2 starters, 2 rakija, 2 bottles of mineral water, 2 main courses and one bottle of vine - one of cheapest from the list, no coffe or desert at all and bill was almost 10.000 din which is over 80 eur. Tip was additional. That is at least 2 times more than in any regular restourant in Belgrade also with excelent food. Also, we come without booking at 19:00 hours that is not bussy time for restourants in Belgrade. All tables in restourant were marked as reserved. We asked for some regular table with nice view bur we were seated in small table, as we were told, they are waiting for guests with reservation at 20:00h. In time that we left the restourant at 21:30 hours no people were seated at that table, and most of tables were still empty. We were seated at less confortable, small table without reason and price were hughe!...
