This must be one of the weirdest places I have ever been at. The owner was totally drunk when I was there, he thinks it's a good idea to have terrariums with cockroaches inside, in the middle of the restaurant. The interrior is very messy, the place is not clean. The food is mediocore at best. Not really sure how this place gets so many good reviews, especially because they keep cockroaches in the middle of that place. Owner seems totally clueless and out of his league. The front of the place also doesn't look inviting at all, they have no signs in english, so if you dont speak Slovak you basically have no idea what the (crappy) sign in front of the place says.

Besides everything else, what I also think was weird there is that they barely have any drinks, and what they have almost all has alcohol. If you dont drink alcohol you can drink a sweet draft lemonade, thats...

Well. We are vegan and were looking around at vegan spots and I couldn’t believe the all 5 star ratings. Believe it, folks! The bar is a cool, anarchist kind of setup and the sushi is very good. We ended up coming here for dinner and lunch every day we were in Bratislava. The staff were kind and friendly, the soups were SO good, and the sushi was of course great. My only suggestion to the sushi chefs and management: provide more savory and spicy roll options! We loved everything we got, but they were all on the sweeter side. We like some sweet, but mostly go for savory and spicy and would have liked more options for that. Just for variety. But everything was made well, service was excellent, and they have great lunch and dinner deals. Try the sour beer on tap as well, one of the best I’ve ever had. Give this place your money! Tip...

I was absolutely delighted to find a fully vegan sushi place in Bratislava, something we don't have where I live in Ireland!

The range of options was really varied and interesting, there were three of us and we ordered a mix of dishes to share, everyone was very happy. We had had a little too much to drink the night before so we probably could have eaten a little more but that was our own fault!

If you're vegan, definitely don't miss this place in Bratislava. (Although my two friends are not vegan or vegetarian and they still very much enjoyed it!)

I only take away one star for atmosphere because the music might not be to everybody's taste (a mix of techno/drum and bass) but it isn't overly loud so don't let that put you off. The food more than...

I had high expectations for this place after hearing so many positive comments, but unfortunately, it wasn’t for me. They offer a wide variety of sushi and are certainly creative, but most of the flavors didn’t work for me. My friends and I ordered a platter with 8 different types, and I only enjoyed 3 of them. I particularly disliked the one with cheese (I think it was goat cheese) and the one with fried onions. The ginger also tasted a bit old. While the venue itself was nice, the sushi experience fell short. If you’re specifically looking for vegan sushi in Bratislava, this might be your only option, but if you’re open to other options, I’d suggest exploring other places.

My visit to Smak Vegan Sushi in Bratislava was a mixed experience. The food was undoubtedly delicious, with a wide variety of creative vegan sushi options that impressed my taste buds. However, the downside was the lengthy wait time for our orders (possibly because of Biela Noc festival). Additionally, it's worth noting that the restaurant played quite loud techno music, which may not be to everyone's taste, but it did add a unique vibe to the dining experience. Despite the delay, the flavors and presentation of the dishes made up for it. If you're patient and looking for excellent vegan sushi, it's worth a visit.
