I went there to buy their poppy seed strudel. It was very delicious. In addition I also had their pumpkin soup which was also good, but came very hot and it took long to cool off. On a different note, just a few tips for the owner from a tourist. I think the place needs a little bit of update in terms of its looks. First of all, the overall facade of the place is a bit boring, I would put some yellow flower hanging baskets to give it more life and attract some more visitors. When you enter the place you have 2 antique furniture pieces close to the entrance door with some black t-shirts hanging right at the entrance door and selling some bracelets.    Read moreHavenât had the chance to sit and dine at Franz Xaver Messerschmidt yet, but weâve stopped by twice just for their cakes â and they were excellent. We tried the Sacher Torte and the chocolate almond cake, and both were spot on. The Sacher had just the right sweetness and a moist texture, while the almond cake was a bit less sugary but perfectly balanced. Easily among the best weâve tried in the area.
The interior looks charming and historic, adding to the cafĂ©âs old-world appeal. Looking forward to coming back someday to try more...

I particularly liked the chestnut crust, which was naturally sweet and dense without the addition of butter. Much appreciation to the waitress who recommended it!
The outdoor tents are also a great place to slowly sip on an espresso and watch the...
