La Pizzeria — Restaurant in Maribor

I've been here a few times and the pizza is consistently good. There are often new (seasonal) creative combinations that are offered for a short time as an addition to the standard offering.

The pizza size is sufficient for two people or for 1 very hungry adult. You'll have fun cutting it with scissors and sharing. Don't forget that you can choose different toppings for each half.

The staff was polite but a bit cold and not very communicative.

My only complaint is the size of the tables which are indeed for one pizza per table so having more complicates eating. The chairs are also very small and put closely together. Both factors contribute to the feeling that you're not welcome and that they want to make the table free for another customer as soon as possible.

And try to avoid weekday lunchtime. Even though the place was empty, we ended up waiting around 45 minutes. Probably due...

Today I wanted to take my parents for lunch, tried to make a reservation. It is not possible. I said to myself ok, the employers there will take care of me. So we entered, 3 people. No place. I asked if someone is finished or payed, the waitress said she does not know?!! Well, I ordered to take away (20 mins to wait). 30 sec later some people are leaving the table. I hurry (as I noticed a couple coming 15 sec ago), and the same waitres says that we cannot use the table as she promised to two people coming after us. I was shocked. Not only I came first with the obvious intention to stay, and ordering the take away was the desperate attempt to eat my fav pizza, but also she lost 3 customers who would eat and drink more than 2 people. She is extremely unintelligent and unprofessional and bad for buisiness. I left immediately. I hope you...

Myself and my gf were returning from Italy holiday and on our journey we had one night in Maribor. Unfortunately it was raining and it was difficult to find any, at least decent, restaurant in the town center. When we saw first thing we just went in. And oh boy, it was the best random decision ever.

In short what we had received: best gastro atmosphere best pizza we ever ate (plus topping of prawns haha) the quickest service ever (drinks 3 min, pizza 7 min) best waiter and very clever bloke ever, named NAMBDI

We personally did thank Nambdi, and he did not even tried and made our dinner experience more than amazing. Where can he be when he will try hey? Wish you all the best in your bright future.
