Staff was super friendly however they lack a crucial attention to detail. We ordered a cookie and specified that we need that specific cookie because my sister has a nut allergy. They didn’t hear that the first time so I repeated it no worries. However they proceeded to then hand my sister a nut cookie, and they took it back and I said again we have a peanut allergy so they switch the cookie. My sister bites into her cookie and it had NUTS!! then the lady came over and gave her the proper cookie but my sister had already eaten peanuts after we asked FOUR TIMES. I am a Canadian who loves starbucks because I can usually depend on their standards and food quality as I also have food sensitivities but this scared me and I no longer feel as confident trusting at least this location of Starbucks. That was quite ridiculous and could have sent my sister to the hospital. There were no other customers waiting to order either so I don’t understand why they could not get the order correctly considering there was no language...
Read moreI visit the Starbucks at Canal Walk almost every week, as it’s the most convenient branch for me. However, my experiences there have often fallen short of expectations.

In terms of quality, the drinks and coffee are average at best. They do not meet the standard I’ve experienced and expect from Starbucks.
Overall, the staff at this location would greatly benefit from retraining to improve their professionalism and attentiveness. A better focus on customer service would make a significant difference to this branch’s performance. Until then, it’s hard to recommend this Starbucks...

I've experienced bad service here on more than one occasion but attributed that to individual employees and not necessarily the shop itself, but now the product is awful too. I ordered a coffee Frappaccino (my usual order) and after 2 sips and asking a friend to try it, I took it back to the lady who helped me and asked if the milk was off or if she could try it because it tasted horrible. She made me a new one, (Espresso Frappaccino) and as she made it I realized she did not use coffee at all but rather "espresso syrup". Starbucks no longer uses ground coffee to make their products and it has suffered for it....
