Ratanga Park is a decent and generally well-maintained space, ideal for a walk or a bit of fresh air. However, I feel it's important to share a concern that really stood out during my visit—safety.
While enjoying the park, I encountered a group of three young individuals who were acting in an intimidating and aggressive manner, harassing park-goers and even threatening violence. Despite reporting this to security, their response seemed minimal, and not long after, the same group surrounded us, making verbal threats and behaving in an extremely inappropriate and hostile way.
While I was able to defuse the situation by standing my ground, it's deeply concerning that this could happen in what’s supposed to be a safe public space.
