Hey there! Let me tell you about the fantastic experience I had at Fourno's Bakery in Fourways. First off, the location is just lovely – a perfect spot that sets the stage for a delightful meal. Now, let's talk about the amazing staff. I'm all about those "units of measure," and for me, Fourno's ticks all the boxes. Reasonable prices? Check. I appreciate that they respect my mental barriers when it comes to paying for a good breakfast. And here's something that warms my heart: they're dog-friendly! I can't stress enough how important that is for us. Bringing our little Jack Russell along to breakfast outings is a treat, and Fourno's not only accommodates but genuinely cares about our furry friend's happiness. Now that's a great trait! The atmosphere? Oh, it's fantastic. There's a vibe that makes you feel mentally energized, turning a meal into a memorable experience. It's like being in a great space that just adds to the joy of being there. Service matters, right? Fourno's aces it – not with a hovering waiter but with attention to the little things. They get the order right, they're friendly, and they're prompt. It's the kind of service that keeps you coming back. And let's talk about management. I detest places with an absent owner or manager. At Fourno's, the owner goes above and beyond. He pops by the table, introduces himself, ensures we're well taken care of, and engages in a bit of friendly conversation. It feels like you're supporting a friend, not just buying food. That personal touch made me a regular after my first visit. Lastly, the other patrons – they add to the overall experience. Even though I might not know them or see them again, the fact that everyone looks happy, relaxed, and comfortable adds to the feeling of belonging. So, here's a big shoutout to Fourno's Bakery for making each visit special, whether it's just my wife and me, a business meeting, or a gathering with bike groups. Cheers to the heroes at Fourno's!

What a let down Indeed!!! Would rather travel to Woodmead outlet to enjoy a meal there!!! Lack of service, waitress just forgot about us... and we found ourselves sitting waiting for how long!!! Chicken was so dry .... over cooked .. Stir-fry... waited to request a plate for there was no room to actually "mix" the stir-fry.... noodles was dry and couldn't mix salty veg for would mess over... Yet again sat there waiting for any kind of service..... eventually food cold and asked for takeaway .... the car guard would rather enjoy!!! Really a let down .... The owners are at the Woodmead branch amazing how the food quality and service SO much better there... not consistent!!!

Honestly, Fournos at fourways Crossing still remains the best balance between good quality breakfast at a good price. It costs us R130 for 1 filter coffee (comes with one refill), almond cuppacino, and a smashed avo on toast. Me being me, I forgot to take a photo of the dam food, but I'll vouch for it being delicious. Me and my wife shared the one meal - we just added an extra egg as it comes with one egg. Such a treat, and they have so much more. Ask for Terry. He was an amazing waiter!

Update on review: I was asked with my previous review by the owner who responded to my complaint to email my complaint to them so that Fournos can improve my review. It has been 12 days give or take and I still have not received a reply. I ordered a few times after my first review and disappointingly still the freshly baked goodies were still not freshly baked. I ordered your tramazzinis today and found them tasteless. Although there was plenty of chicken and feta on the on the tramazzinis, which was great, but still tasted like nothing. The food was badly packed and damaged. Then lastly, the chips were oily and had no seasoning on them at all. I have tried to improve my review of Fournos by testing different products but still not satisfied. I have taken away 1 more star as I have not recieved any reply from Fournos which makes it feel like they made the comment to keep me quiet. Very dissatisfied.

Previous review: "Spanakopita was old with barely any feta. Tiropitas were falling apart and also tasted old. Sausage rolls were good and delicious. What happened to all the freshly baked goodies from you guys?...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Fornos Bakery, a place that promised delectable treats and an inviting ambiance. While the food undoubtedly lived up to its reputation, the overall experience was dampened by a disappointingly lackluster level of service.

The dishes were delcious. The pastries were perfectly flaky, the eggs were cooked to perfection, and the coffee provided the necessary morning jolt. The attention to flavor and presentation was evident, and it was easy to see why Fornos Bakery had gained such a loyal following.

However, the service we encountered was where the experience took a regrettable detour. Despite arriving during a seemingly quiet period, the waitstaff appeared to be disengaged and uninterested. It was puzzling to observe waiters casually chatting amongst themselves while patrons looked around for assistance. Our own attempts to capture their attention often fell on deaf ears, forcing us to resort to near-begging for service.

An establishment with such delectable offerings deserves a service team that matches the excellence...
