Worst experience ever from any KFC. I made purchase at drive thru, the lady said machine out of paper but gave me an approved slip. At collection window. They refused to give me my purchase, saying payment didn't go through, even my receipt says approved and money went out of my account. They said I must pay again, it will be reversed tomorrow because it's probably offline. I spoke to Manager Hlengiwe Nbebhle, I'm hoping correct spelling. She refused to stand still while I took it down. Ignoring me and helping other customers. She refused to help me further unless I paid again. Insisting that's all she can do and when I told her I'm going to complain to head office and via other social media's about the service she said, I must go ahead. When I told the other customers, they were all shocked. When I went outside refusing to pay again. Rather going to KFC Monte Casino. 2 uber drives said this is the usual service here. Management doesn't care and 1 driver said he had same experience in the past, took 2 weeks to resolve from head office and owner of store, but he did get an apology. 2 weeks. Kfc store manager at KFC monte casino gave me contact info for regional manager and head office to take further. I'm going to leave positive review there now. I've being a customer here for 4 years. I buy almost weekly and as recent as Friday. I have the receipt. Picture video and audio to prove how bad the service was. I'm never buying from here again. I don't recommend them at all. I went to collect physically only to find the driver took the food and ran. I had to walk in there firstly to fight to prove that I never received the food. The guy even offers ice cream I told him staff his ice cream cause the kids were already asleep at that point. The second time I even thought let me order from a different (KFC Fourways Crossing). Ordered and waited for an hour and half and decided to go collect. In my mind I’m thinking the delay is cause of the weather last night. Only to find the order is not showing on their side. Now I must print bank statements to show that the money was taken from my side but there is nothing showing on KFC side. They kept calling MR D and Uber, I’m like but this is ur app. It’s the KFC app. Then they turn around to say oh no if I ordered a promotion item sometimes the orders take long to populate. To which I said if I click on a store that doesn’t have a promotion item or the item is out of stock in that store then they must blank it out in the app so that I don’t order it. Read moreI ordered from KFC Fourways Crossing this evening and unfortunately, I was highly dissatisfied with my experience. The quality of the food I received was below expectations. The items were poorly prepared, and the portion sizes were surprisingly small. In particular, I ordered a large serving of chips, but what I received was less than half of what I would expect from a ‘large’ order.
In addition to the disappointing food, I found the service to be subpar. It’s essential for fast-food establishments to consistently meet customer expectations, and my experience fell short of this standard. As a result of this experience, I regret to say that I won’t be ordering from this KFC location again.
I hope that KFC Fourways Crossing can take this feedback as an opportunity for improvement.
