Please organise some kitchen hygiene training, the lady who made my coffee was cutting up mince meat, came to the machine to input my order on the machine. She was probably going make my drink then with if I didn’t ask her to wash her hands. She simply rinsed them and proceeded with my order. Also, she did not heat up the almond milk for the cappuccino I ordered, so the coffee was cold and curdled. My veganism aside, this is unacceptable. I of course did not drink this, just left it on the table. Safe to say, not patronising this branch again, least I get food poisoning.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a very hectic and stressful day, but my experience at Kauai in the Eastgate Mall Virgin Active health food shop turned it around. The service from the employees was exceptional and made my first visit very pleasant and easy. I want to give a big shout-out to Mpumi, who was exceptionally kind and understanding while dealing with my high level of stress. She truly made my day better. This outstanding level of service deserves all the compliments. Thank you, Mpumi, for doing an outstanding job!

Went to redeem my birthday voucher free smoothie, the virgin active receptionist was awesome thats what the 4 stars are for Then the server at Kauai was extremely rude not friendly at all she served me a watery smoothie i cant even drink it, its water, no taste &on top of that she didnt even give me a serviette can you imagine how cold it is holding it with my bare hands,i couldnt even ask because she brushed me off and went back Im a loyal Kauai customer is it because this time i was using a voucher and not money for this poor service and drink? My deserved birthday voucher? Customer service is poor 😢i felt so undermined and belittled because she even went on to say my voucher might not even work,meaning she wasnt even in the spirit to assist me. Ordered a princess wrap off Uber Eats yesterday and requested to remove all chicken as I'm vegetarian. They did not remove the chicken and I ate a piece of chicken. Called Kauai Eastgate, they said they would deliver another wrap without chicken. I still haven't received my wrap. Tried calling them and they just give me poor excuses as to why there's a delay in the delivery. Went to Eastgate yesterday after work and I wasn't assisted because apparently there was only 1 lady working in Kauai. It's my first time ordering a meal at Kauai using my FNB voucher. The service I received from a lady named Ntabiseng was excellent. She was very friendly and helpful. I explained to her what I was looking for and she was able to direct me to an option on the menu that met my request. She was absolutely great. The wrap I ordered was also nice.

The only negative thing I would say is that you have to wait at the reception of the gym to place and receive your order. It would've been nice to go in and see the store for atmosphere etc. Anyway, overall I'll still get...
