I shouldâve known better than to trust McDonaldâs with my lunch, but I was in a hurry, starving, andâfoolishlyâthought, "How hard could it be?" Spoiler: It was a catastrophic dumpster fire.
The Drive-Thru Was âOfflineâ (Because Apparently, Technology is Hard) Pulled up to the speaker, ready to order, only to be met with DEAD SILENCE. No "Hi, welcome to McDonaldâs," no "Weâll be right with you," just the sound of my stomach growling and my will to live fading. After five minutes of awkwardly yelling "HELLO?!" into the void, some employee finally mumbled through the crackling speaker like a hostage recording. Cool. Great start.
They Got the Whole Order Wrong (Because Reading is Optional) I ordered a simple mealâa McChicken, fries, and a Coke. What did I get? A McDouble with no pickles (I HATE pickles, so at least they got that wrong too), a Sprite instead of Coke, and fries so cold they couldâve been leftovers from the Reagan administration. At this point, Iâm convinced McDonaldâs workers just close their eyes and grab random items out of a bin.
Had to Park & Beg for My Actual Food (Like a Homeless Person at a Soup Kitchen) Already late for a meeting, I had no choice but to abandon my car, storm inside, and join the mob of other angry customers who also got scammed. The employees moved at the speed of a sedated sloth, acting like fixing their own mistakes was some huge inconvenience. When I finally got my real order, the fries were somehow soggier than before, and the McChicken looked like it had been sat on.
The Aftermath: Regret, Hunger, and a Vow to Never Return By the time I got to my meeting, I was late, hangry, and traumatized. The Coke was flat, the fries were inedible, and the McChicken had the texture of a wet sponge. McDonaldâs didnât just failâthey actively ruined my day with their incompetence.
Final Verdict: If you enjoy wasting time, money, and your last shred of hope in humanity, then sure, hit up McDonaldâs. Otherwise, eat literally anything elseâeven gas station sushi is a safer bet....
Read moreI arrived at the McDonald's just before closing, after a long day at work so I understand the feeling of wanting to be done with the day.
I ordered on the self-service point and it didn't print my slip. I then obviously didn't have a slip and an order number. I went to a lady who was cashing up the tills to inform of this issue. She then gave instruction to a lady named Pretty to assist. Pretty WAS RUDE!!! She was so so rude. She made it seem like it was the biggest inconvenience to have to be served by her, and I did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to insight that out of her. I greeted, I was kind and her attitude was disgusting and absolutely uncalled for. She screamed for me across the room in a manner that made me want to absolutely rip her head off. We then had to wait for a good 5 minutes (after receiving our orders), to be let out. No one seemed to show any sense of urgency for the fact that we had to all leave. I dreaded having to ask for Pretty's help again, but I had to ask her to get someone to open the door for us. She was so condescending in her response (I really wanted to give her a piece of my mind!). A lovely gentleman then came to open the door for us, to which I decided to take the opportunity to let him know of my experience and the fact that I was extremely unhappy with Pretty. He's response was 'You're not the only one to complain!'. This made me even more mad. Another customer then interjected to say 'the fact that you're saying that to us and not doing anything about it, makes this conversation even more useless'.
Mcdonaldâs Rosebank, I need you to know that I am EXTREMELY UNHAPPY with the service of Pretty and I DO NOT appreciate her attitude and how she treated me. I had a good mind to just let it rip on her, because we've all had a long day at 9:30 on a Tuesday evening. We all go through troubles, but the way she treated me, IS NOT OKAY. You've lost a customer in me. What a disappointment that McDonald's customer service is.
I am FURIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! đĄđĄđĄđĄđĄ...
Read moreIn the early hours of Saturday morning, after a night out with friends, we came to get some food here. The staff member who was working that shift refused to serve us indoors and made us sit by the outdoor seating area. Whilst sitting there we got mugged, and our phones were stolen.
The police arrived on the scene and I asked the staff member if we can't use the CCTV footage to get the car's registration number because the getaway car was parked by the drive through. They told me no they can't.
If this staff member had allowed my friend and I to sit inside, this traumatic experience could have been prevented. I even payed for food I never even got!!!
This establishment's failure to even have a basic security officer/vehicle on their premises especially on a weekend when many young profitionals are out blowing off steam after a long week is a blemish to the Mcdonald's Brand.
I'm new to the area and I just got my first job, and bought my very first iPhone with my first paycheck. That phone is new and it never got insured. I want justice!!!
That staff member who refused to serve us inside when that Mcdonald's has signs stating they are open 24/7, needs to face some repercussions. That staff member who did not even have the decency to apologize to my face let alone give me my food!!! I want answers for the lack of humanity they showed!!!
I am convineced that they were apart of this somehow. I hope the management of that Mcdonald's does an investigation because I've been told that that Mcdonald's is a Hotspot for phone grabs.
I'd appreciate your assistance in helping me find these people, I am working with private security. Can you kindly tell me what procedures I need to follow to get access to that CCTV footage. Because these people are now impersonating me and trying to get money from my contact list. Your cooperation would be...
