The service by the Country Road stand is terrible. Walked in and the Sales Assistant was gossiping with another guy who I'm even sure works there. No acknowledgement whatsoever since I walked in. Fitted the items I wanted and went to pay, I had to call the lady to come to till. Before I could pay I wanted the I enquired if one dresses came in other colours since I liked the fit so much, instead of the Sales Assistant asking if she could check on the system she quickly said she doesn't know and they only received that one colour. The only reason I bought the dress was because it was on sale and wasn't sure if I could find it in other stores. No wonder Country Road was Woolworths’ worst-performing segment and it's revenue continues to decrease. I went to Witchery thereafter and service was the opposite,,the Sales assistant was busy with the books by the till but made sure to say hi and made it known she available should I need anything. Country Road staff could learn a thing or two... or three...from the witchery...
Read moreI hate but ching and prefer to give compliments. We live in a country with people praying for jobs. Then you get that staff member that hates their job and its the biggest favour to do their job. Specifically cashier at Trenery section mens clothing. 14.30 27 April. He had no customers to serve but literaly chased me away form his till point. I had loaded myself with a ton of clothing to purchase. It wasn't the walk to other checkout but, just his attitude towards his JOB that angered me.. I tried to find a manager to tell him about it but he was nowhere to be fiound. Clothing is probably the most competitive sector to trade in.
I know Woolworths pays their staff well, so NO, don't have people that don't want or appreciate their jobs working for you . Or at least correct his behaviour and attitude not to have people angry...

My recent visit to Country road/trenery section for men was nothing short of a disaster. The employees were shockingly incompetent and rude, particularly one named Mogoshu (manager) who seemed determined to ruin everyone's day. The service is ridiculously bad and dependent on what colour your skin is. This is not the value woolies or country road should be conveying. They will watch you as you look for items and give you bad looks and not greet you as if you are invading their space. That manager is bad for business. I shop here often for convenience but my interactions are always the same and would prefer not to give my money to country road as their employees leave me with a bad taste. Save yourself the headache and...
