The manager Thumeka is horrible person and should not be a manager anywhere!!! We ordered fries from another restaurant then came here to order our typical chicken meal with 2 sides and drink to dine in. After getting our food and begin eating we saw Thumeka tell our server to inform us that we cannot have outside food. We said ok we weren't aware and we will not do it again. Thumeka then sends another server Innocence to tell us again that we can't have outside. We explained that we weren't aware, the other server already told us and we won't do it again and to stop disturbing us while we're trying to enjoy our meal. Thumeka then comes over after hearing us talk to Innocence, acting like she's stupid asking us what's the problem and she wasn't aware of any issues despite us SEEING her send our server and Innocence over to us. She then keeps talking to us OVER our food and we finally get tired of hearing her and tell her we understand and won't do it again and go away and stop sending people over to disturb us so we can eat and go. She leaves and send the other manager Fran or Francis to us. He was saying we should not just tell the manager to go away and yell at her and should just tell her that we understand(when she totally exaggerated the situation to Fran and made it seem like we were arguing when she was the one who wouldn't leave us alone). We did tell her we understood and even apologized. I don't know if she was wanting us to leave AFTER we paid and had already received our food. So we told Fran that we understood and he said that was all we needed to say that we understood that outside food wasn't allowed. Yet we told Thumeka and the other servers we were sorry and understood for the future. Thumeka is the type to start trouble and pretend she doesn't know what's happening. Upon entering the store, I stood in line the only person waiting ready to place my order. I had selected my meal from the menu and, though I wasn’t sure how to pronounce the item, I intended to point to it when ordering.
While waiting, I noticed several staff members observing me and gesturing amongst themselves, seemingly deciding who should assist me. This brief delay was already uncomfortable. Eventually, a female employee approached the till, and I politely greeted her and said, “Hello, can I please have this,” while pointing to the item.
To my shock, she immediately turned around and shouted quite dramatically to her colleagues, telling them to assist me instead. Without a word of explanation, she walked away, leaving me feeling humiliated and singled out in front of other customers and staff. It was an unprofessional and deeply discourteous way to treat a customer.

I always order the boujee bowl. So I’m very aware of the portion sizes . This branch had the worst portion sizes I’ve very experienced at any Nando’s . I don’t frequent here so I was literally passing through from PTA .
I queried this with the manager , he approached me very kindly to inform me they work on a standard 150grams of rice per order . I did inform him that’s not the case with other branches . Everything about my meal was rationed even the Avocado. I hardly tasted the avo . I told him I don’t get this experience at Mall africa or menlyn where I always order the same meal, he told me that those stores are wrong , Anyway I had my meal . I decided to check the google reviews for this branch and the first two reviews said the exact same thing about portion sizes . I showed the manager to make him aware and he told me he has only been managing this branch for two months . lol
