vida e caffè Pineslopes — Restaurant in Gauteng

There are no words to describe how awful our experience was at this place. We asked for 2 toasted cheddar cheese sandwiches on white bread and 2 cuppacinos. We were going to eat them at the restaurant as we had been there before and we had enjoyed it. The male employee brought us our order which was wrong. 1 sandwich was on some other bread and one was in pita bread. Both had mozzarella cheese, no cheddar. When I asked about the sandwich on pita bread, he took it back and gave me another one which was lying on the shelf behind the counter. The coffee was terrible too. The sandwiches had a terrible smell. We couldn't eat or drink anything. When my husband went to give them back and he told the female employee how terrible they were, she replied by saying "thank you for your patronage". This place is definitely not worth going to. We wasted R124 and got nothing...

I’m so disappointed at this Vida, the staff dont pay attention to detail then waste a chance at a great coffee, I ordered a grande iced strawberry matcha. And got a mucho in return. I asked for a slip when I paid but the woman at the desk declined. Subsequently I was given a mucho drink and I asked why it’s not grande. The man making the beverage proceeded to just pour the mucho drink into a grande cup and add more ice to make it appear full. Id realised once id tasted it that there was just milk and strawberries. This is a very expensive drink. And for it to have been made so poorly makes me question the value of vida as an establishment. It really ruined my day man....

Vida has stepped up Generally and stores have improved, but maybe im prejudiced as the experience is still not great and they still make the worst most bitter weak espresso except from M&B who is worse. If the espresso improve a bit and finally train the Baristas to make a better espresso, i might be a more regular as their stores look better especially deaigm quarter.
