It's a good outing with the family, for starters our waiter Sirogni best so far with great service and manners a well 10/10. Let's start with our starters' crumbed mushrooms. It was awesome hot and a lot. very few places where you get good mushrooms, but this place did a great job with serving sizes. Now let's get to the main course it was beef curry medium warm, which would have been better if it was warmer same would be for the remainder of the kiddies pizza it was a bit plain but really not a really lot to complain about. Then coming to the chef Keanan for the 8 queen prawns made for perfection well sized and the garlic butter was to die for well done chef Keanan. On the other hand the chicken mayo was not to my liking at this stage hopefully it would be corrected but the chicken and mayo was with onions some would like it but for myself it's not to my liking. I’ve been going to the “treintjie” for what seems like forever but each year it seems to be degrading over season time. Views and atmosphere is great but food was completely below par as I ended up having to argue with the waitress and sushi bar about what should be in my poke bowl. Neither knew what caviar and seaweed were.

Every other dish the table tried was horrible. Trying to send things back was a chore and honestly arguing with staff is not pleasant.

Ordered a coke and asked for a lemon slice only to be brought a lime cordial which was forced into my coke then attitude when I wouldn’t drink it. Flat beer, etc etc the list goes on.

I needed to leave this review because this establishment has such amazing promise but their service and food needs...

Definetly not worth it. Let's start with the positive side: the restaurant has an amazing view. But unfortunately, this is the only positive thing. Probably the worst about this place was the food. The salad that we ordered was floating in the water that they used to wash it. The vegetables that they offered as a side dish were frozen, they went directly from the bag on our plate. The potatoes we received had no salt or spieces, not even oil to give it a taste. The service was bad too, they mixed up our orders and we waited way too long to get our food - same happened when we asked for the bill. There are definitely much better options...
