I like myself a cold beer where the atmosphere is one of welcoming. But I'm really disappointed in this gem of place. On entry the manager did not as much as greet us first before asking us to leave. He just rudely told us that "we are closed" when I asked him if we could maby just play a fast R20 on the slots. We were awnserd in the same fassion. "We are closed" thing is I understand it's curfew for us in South Africa and it is at 10 pm. At that time it was know where near 10pm it was 8;15. The restorant was still full of costemers. Drinking and eating. When we left I asked a customer I know how long thay still hanging atound I was told that he only order his starters now and is on his second beer...... Food was very good, but cheated us on the bill. They run a special buy one cocktail get 2nd one for half price and the they charge you normal R75 for both on the bill and the pine colada tasted like nothing. We asked for double brandy because they run a special R30 for a double. The waiter did not say which brand or nothing we asked for Olof ended up paying R66 for the double. Also with the eisbein, on the wall it is written R145 and the after we have ordered I only saw the XL eisbein for R160. I said to the waiter why didn't he told me about the XL and he said it is almost the same size and then on the bill we were charger for the XL-R160. Really didn’t expect such low standard, we moved here recently and it’s our first time coming to sit and have something to drink somewhere. There are no prices for the beers, so you have to ask the waiter each item on the menu to hear the prices, and the waiters response is “It ranges from ….
