I hope this message finds you well. I am writing on behalf of my fiancé to express his disappointment regarding a recent experience at Spur Oceans Mall on Friday 28 Feb 2025. We have always enjoyed dining at your establishment, which is why I was particularly disheartened by the level of service I received from the manager Mike.

My partner had gotten sick after he had eaten the pork ribs which had an unusual taste and smell but he ignored it and chose not to complain little did he know he was going to throw up in the car park ,

I then phoned the spur manager immediately and told him what had happened, in defence he said to me that he had also eaten the pork ribs today and nothing has happened to him , he showed no care for us customers but he chose to debate with me and have a stinky attitude and Told me to get a report from the gp stating it’s food poisoning and it takes a process for this to reach another department .i am highly disgusted and horrified at Mike and I do wish to speak to higher authorities if they could please provide me with details to explain...

today i was at ocean mall spur i was served with an expired beer from draft tap. i call my waiter showed her those white yeast like substance in my glass. she took it to her manager as i was looking at them they had a little meeting seeing that .they even try to pour another glass from the same draft tap still the same thing came out. then the lady manager came to me asking if can she give me a beer from dampie then draft which proves to me they saw all the draft beer has expired. how many previous costumers who drank that without noticing it and paid for such danger. i was angry and fumming but i tried my best to be calm for the sake of my wife i respect her enough to loose it while with her. the beers were even removed from my bill still proving they were at the wrong to put my health at risk. the manager took my name and number without even telling why then said they will contact their supply. please be aware not to face such i am...

This is by far one of the worst spurs I've been to - and I've been to many. From the moment we got there we were treated as though we were an inconvenience. The staff were unfriendly and borderline rude. The kids were absolutely rough in the play area and there was no child minder around to control or supervise the chaos. Some even looked older than 12 years in the play area. Our waitress messed up our order and forgot to redeem the vouchers, which we had given her at the beginning of our lunch. Our food took over an hour to come - including the kids food and we saw many people - who'd come after us - receive their food before us. And when we finally signaled the waitress, she seemed surprised we were waiting. To be honest I'm struggling to find even a single positive about the Ocean's Mall Spur branch.
