Happened to find this place behind our hotel one evening, and it became one of the most memorable meals of our trip!
We had the jokbal (boiled pork trotter), it came with two types of kimchi - sooooo yummy. You can also eat it in a wrap with the lettuce or perilla leaf and ssamjang, also was really really good. The sujebi egg soup was a nice side too. The two of us struggled to finish it all, there was so much food. Soju pairs really nicely with this meal. The boss lady was very friendly, brought us an English menu too. If pork trotter is not your thing, you can order boiled pork belly....
Read moreI couldn't help but stop by today after noticing that it's always packed with locals whenever I pass by. The place was already full of families and locals enjoying drinks. I ordered the small portion of Bossam, and the meat was tender and well-cooked. The kimchi wasn't too sweet and tasted great. It was a very harmonious combination. I'll definitely come back next time for drinks....
