Eun-hee Haejangguk(Hangover Soup) — Restaurant in Jeju

Food was good. Ordered the spicy beef stew. It was served with side dishes just like other local Korean restaurant. It was the lunch time crowd but it was easy to get a table. The only issue I had was the server asked me to make payment upon ordering and explained that its the policy. However, i see locals paying only on the way out or anytime when they are comfortable. Im not sure if this is related to me speaking Mandarin Chinese when she was struggling to speak in English but spoke a few chinese words. Is this discrimination against Chinese in general or foreigners? Im not sure. Thus 3 stars...

I went here for late dinner last night. But the waitress was so rude. We were 5 people and we wanted to sit seperately because the table was small for 5 people. (the table was for 4 people.)Also, there were a lot of empty tables. But, the waitress forced us to sit together. So, we did. And, as soon as we sat at the table, she asked us what we want. 은희네해장국 노형점은 제주에서 꽤 유명한 해장국집인데, 막상 가보니까 좀 아쉬운 점들이 많았어요. 일단 24시간 영업하는 건 정말 좋더라구요. 늦은 시간에도 해장국 먹을 수 있어서 편리했어요. 하지만 그만큼 관광객들이 많이 몰리는 곳이라서 문제가 있더라고요.

가장 불편했던 게 소음이었어요. 중국인 단체 관광객들이 많이 와서 정말 시끄럽더라구요. 해장국 먹으면서 조용히 대화하고 싶었는데, 옆 테이블 소리 때문에 제대로 말도 못 들었어요. 이런 분위기에서 식사하기가 좀 불편했어요.

그리고 직원분들 서비스도 아쉬웠어요. 주문받을 때나 음식 나올 때 좀 퉁명스러우시더라고요. 친절하게 응대해달라는 건 아니지만, 기본적인 예의는 지켜주셨으면 좋겠더라구요. 관광지라서 바쁜 건 이해하지만, 손님한테 그렇게 대하시면 기분이 좀 나쁘잖아요.

주차도 진짜 힘들었어요. 주차장이 좁은데 손님은 많아서 이중주차 해야 했어요. 차 빼달라고 하면서 식사 중간에 나가야 하고, 이런 게 되게 번거로웠어요.

음식 자체는 나쁘지 않았어요. 소고기해장국(1.1만원)이랑 내장탕(1.2만원) 먹었는데, 국물 맛은 괜찮더라구요. 내장이랑 선지도 푸짐하게 들어있었고요. 하지만 맛이 특별히 감동적이지는 않았어요. 그냥 평범한 해장국 수준?

회전율을 빨리 돌리려고 하는 느낌도 있었어요. 음식 나오는 건 빠른데, 천천히 먹기엔 분위기가 좀 그랬어요. 관광지 특성상 어쩔 수 없는 것 같긴 하지만요.

전체적으로 은희네해장국 노형점은 24시간 영업이라는 장점은 있지만, 소음, 서비스, 주차 등등 불편한 점들이 많았어요. 조용하고 편안한 식사를 원한다면 다른 지점이나 다른 해장국집을 추천하고 싶어요. 관광객들 때문에 너무 북적거려서 현지인들이 가기엔...
