A must-visit in Hongdae!

A year ago, we discovered the Corner Pub during our second trip to South Korea, thanks to a recommendation from our hotel receptionist. We were completely won over by this spot in Hongdae.

That’s why we came back this year for our third trip to South Korea!

My friends and I have visited quite a few places, but nothing compares to the Corner Pub. For us, it has become an essential stop on our trips to South Korea.

The atmosphere is super cool and fun: livelier and more festive on weekends, and more laid-back during the week. I highly recommend checking out the Halloween events!

It’s a multicultural, multi-ethnic, and very safe place.

The staff and the owner, Sean, are one of a kind! They are always attentive to customers, super friendly, and incredibly kind! The service and staff are top-notch!

At this pub, you can find a wide selection of cocktails and liquors with great value for money. The music selection is a mix of current hits and classics, and there’s even a small dance area if you want to hit the floor.

Even though we don’t smoke, the terrace dedicated to smokers is a great feature and very rare in Seoul!

Went out with my two friends to celebrate my friend’s visiting in Korea, we entered as the music and atmosphere seemed to be nice. We were waiting at the bar to order something to drink. There was a male customer who was a good friend of one of the bar staff there (yellow hair dyed male staff), he suddenly started to look at me up and down and talked to me very rude. I told him don’t say anything to me, he kept talking the poor guy. His friend, the bar staff here, appeared trying to stop him and brought him out. Too bad that this happened tonight and even worse that it was from a person who’s friend of the staff. Management team didn’t say anything to me about it, and was just smiling talking with that guy. Very much disappointing staff’s attitude to manage this...

Bartenders and the manager are amazing, very welcoming and speak very good English, they are fair and fast in the service. The music is pretty good, there's a big choice of drinks and not too expensive, pool table, video games, not smoking inside but a terrace with chairs to smoke, on the floor there is a terrace for non smoking people who want to breathe when the weather is pleasant... There's a lot of Koreans and foreigners people, everybody have fun together and we can meet some incredible persons. I don't wanna leave Korea and this bar, but I know that the next time I'm coming in Seoul, the first thing I will do is to return...
