Sanrio Lovers Club — Restaurant in Seoul

Sanrio heaven for Sanrio lovers! First floor has cafe with a little shop area & some items were specially made & sold for the Sanrio Lovers Club Cafe! On the left side there is a bathroom, Photo Booth, & a cute Sanrio room with purple lockers & decors. You can also print photocards but unfortunately I did not have service & they do not have Wi-Fi for customers so I was unable to do that. You DO NOT NEED A RESERVATION for the first floor so you HAVE access to all of this! If you purchased desserts & drinks from the cafe you can bring it outside! There is a seating area! :)

Second floor is where you do NEED a reservation. I made my reservation through Naver in their Instagram bio link: @sanrio_lovers_club. Make sure to create a Naver account first (this was the biggest struggle for me because I needed an international ID verification & it took 1-2 days to process with my USA passport). They will check your reservation on Naver when you line up outside & you will get a sticker to go upstairs.

Each seating area on the 2nd floor is customized to the Sanrio character. I recommend getting there a few minutes early bc you do get in based on order of lining up. Everyone left their stuff on their seats after choosing where they want to sit/character they liked & went downstairs to get desserts & drinks from the cafe & brought it back upstairs back to their seat. There’s also a prop room upstairs with a big vanity mirror, and a wall full of Sanrio plushies definitely worth...

Had a really unpleasant visit to this cafe. Didn’t get the hype, the interior was great but the service was absolutely horrendous. One staff were really not friendly to us. The upper floor closes slightly earlier and we wanted to snap a picture in one of the photo walls/room while we were also about to walk down all ready to go back but she rudely dismiss us and didn’t allow any pictures to be taken anymore. Super rude.

We 3 travelled all the way frm Malaysia and paid to enjoy the cafe but ended up with huge disappointment. The doughnuts served was also cold and the roll cake was tasteless.

Either way, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here. Hope the management fix this...

All the staff has to be fired immediately so that they appreciate having a job. Why do they have such nasty attitudes towards the customers? This is such a cute place to work, you should be happy and smiling! It will make customers experience so much more enjoyable. I stood there for five minutes to order something and ended up walking away because, even though they clearly saw me standing there, no one cared to take my order. What kind of business makes any money like this? There wasn’t a single person working there that didn’t look irritated or angry. Completely lost my interest.
