A serene sanctuary in the heart of the bustling city, Eoe Cafe (์–ด์˜์นดํŽ˜) is an absolute must-visit for anyone in Seoul. Housed in a stunning, modern hanok, the cafe masterfully blends traditional Korean architecture with a clean, minimalist aesthetic. The real star is the drinks menu, which features unique and beautifully crafted beverages. Their signature "Eoe Latte," often a vibrant, earthy green made with traditional ingredients, is both delicious and incredibly photogenic. Be sure to secure a spot on the rooftop terrace; it offers a peaceful, panoramic view of the surrounding Bukchon Hanok Village, making it the perfect place to unwind. While prices are slightly higher than average, the exceptional ambiance, quality drinks, and unforgettable experience are worth every Won.

This cafe was located near to Bukchon Hanok Village. The interior was very nice, and the atmosphere in the cafรฉ was calm and relaxing. The cappuccino was slightly too sour and slightly intense in flavor. It was somewhere between good and okay. Not bad, but not great either. If they could improve the acidity level of the coffee, it would definitely be better. The black sesame financier was a bit dry and had a slightly tough and sticky texture that reminded me a little bit of bread as well somehow. ๐Ÿค” After chewing a piece for a while, I could taste the black sesame, but the flavor overall was quite subtle.

The best thing about this cafe is their friendly baristas and beautifully presented desserts. I thought the pricing was pretty reasonable considering the location and tasteful interior design. There are lots of traditional Korean elements in the food selection and the decor. If you are in the neighborhood and want to have some high quality coffee/tea experience, this is a great place! Morning time, before lunch rush is a good time to visit.

I visited your cafรฉ with my family โ€” 4 people, including 2 young children aged 5 and 8. I initially ordered 2 drinks and 1 dessert (the sweet potato ice cream) which is a large portion and was meant to share with my kids. So total 3 ordered. However, the cashier told me I needed to order 4 items (because there were 4 people). I believe that was the message, so I agreed and ordered an additional hojicha bingsu โ€” which is also a large dessert. In the end, we had way too much food and couldnโ€™t finish it.

Later, I noticed another table with 2 adults sharing just 1 bingsu, which made me confused and a little frustrated. Why was I required to order 4 items just because I had 2 small children with me, while others were allowed to share?

I tried to ask the staff, but the person at the counter couldnโ€™t speak English, so I gave up. However, I want to leave this feedback because I believe rules should be clearly written and applied consistently to...
