Flipper's Ikseon — Restaurant in Seoul

Good place but not amazing in my opinion.

This is pancake with a different style, the shape of it is so curious as pancake never looks like this.

I tried the number 1 best dish which is the combo strawberry deal. And I would say I was disappointed, the cream tasted ok, and they used real strawberries, blueberries and bananas. Pancake was very soft and fluffy but nothing special about it all.

I even tried their drinks, I ordered the strawberry latte and I was kind of disappointed at this. It was basically milk with strawberry jam bits and cut strawberries. I prefer the Starbucks Korea version of this frappucino.

We came night time on a Wednesday night, it had people inside but not very busy, since this is a tourist area. It has a shared toilet. The waiting time for our order was supposed to be 20min wait, but we got it less than 20mins which was great.

Problem is price for these pancake are pricey. We ordered the strawberry version, a coffee, Americano and another drink, total cost around £25. Next time I want to try the sand version of this pancake.

I would recommend this place, if you want to venture and try something new. Especially if you love pancakes and want to try a new type of pancake, I would say try this if you don't mind spending money to try something new. But I would not recommend the strawberry latte drink and the strawberry pancake sharing, that is considered...

FLIPPERS MORE LIKE FLOPPERS!!!

I went here already accepting i would pay an extortionate price for pancakes but have to order one of their overpriced drinks too was ridiculous. Iced americano for 4800 won being the cheapest drink. Vanilla Latte was bad, almost no vanilla. Whole place is self service having to get up to order and collect one wonders where the profit from overpriced meal goes if not to wait staff. NO KNIVES :( Something about the male server sitting around doing nothing and an all female kitchen staff working hard doesn’t sit right with me. Pancakes were meh… plenty of independent places in Seoul do fluffy pancakes with a better price. Street opposite this establishment has many desert places with better quality and service. ABSOLUTELY NOT...

Great Soufflé pancakes— fluffy, light, perfect texture, delicious cream. Seriously, don’t miss out on Flipper’s, and they seem to get really popular aswell so you might be waiting for a bit. Service is amazing, the staff are really sweet and very helpful. These pancakes aren’t as instagramable as other soufflé pancake places in Seoul as presentation is a little off in terms of fruit quality. Pricy meal at 27000 won— I got fruit and chocolate cream addons but it was originally 20000!! Despite the price, I really do think that these are worth it. A must try, definitely recommend flippers to anyone looking for a delicious dessert...
