This is the place to learn about the traditions and history of rice cake in Korea! If you're staying in/near Insadong, it's also close by and you can look at everything in less than 30 minutes. Considering how this is a smaller museum, there's so much excellent information on how rice cakes were traditionally made, the tools and cookware that were used, and the Korean celebrations where different rice cakes and food were served. It looks like some people were expecting ricecake to be sold here but this isn't a huge museum. :) Hopefully, as they get more interest, they can expand to sell ricecake and also have a gift shop. But I felt that it was a wonderful museum. The only thing to note is that while the 2nd floor has everything in English, the 3rd floor exhibition doesn't have English translations yet.
