Insa Dodam — Restaurant in Seoul

Honestly don't really know what half these reviews are talking about but take it from someone who loves food and has over 200 reviews on Google.

I have friends who come from Busan and Jeju and eventually end up eating here because its famous. Yes its busy and its hard to get a seat, but that's the point of a good place.

The food is incredible and has a sense of traditional Korean authenticity, which is often rare to find in the middle of touristic areas.

The pork belly was cooked just right, the kimchi had the old fermented flavors and the braised pork was incredibly delicious.

Unfortunately the place was so good I actually forgot to take a picture sadly. Coming back...

This has to have been the best restaurant and meal I have had in South Korea in the 3 days I have been here. A quick search of Trip Advisor and you will find the reviews of this place are awesome. The reviews are richly deserved.

The staff are really friendly. The food is amazing. We had the set menu. As we don't drink the owner kindly swapped it for soft drinks and some rice. Just awesome!

What stole the show? The Kim chi was delicious. It wasn't overpowering like lots of it is and it added to the wonderful dining experience.

This was a great lunch place, out of the way and quite peaceful in comparison to other places we had been. I also appreciated that it had vegan options for me while still having a wider menu for my sister so I didn’t have to choose to go to a solely vegan place. In terms of our meal, I had the vegan bibimbap and my sister had the beef brisket bibimbap. Both were really nice and flavourful - I enjoyed all the veg that went into mine as well as the broth and gochujang which added a lot of flavour. Thanks very much...
