I recently had the pleasure of visiting an exceptional restaurant in Seoul that I simply had to share my experience about. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was top-notch and the atmosphere was unforgettable. This place is a must-visit when in Seoul.

Firstly, I must praise the talented chef and his team. Every dish was crafted with such skill and attention to detail, and the flavors were simply exquisite. I was blown away by the quality of the food, and it was clear that the chef takes pride in his work. It's no wonder this place is a go-to spot for locals and tourists alike.

It’s located on the 2nd floor of the building, so look for the signage and have a short walk up

Ambience Upon arrival, u hear and feel the Aussie vibes oozing out. The chefs are visibly hard at work and the counter staff greet u with a pretty authentic Aussie accent too haha.

Coffee Is quite average. Not your typical Aussie serving and quality. But I am guessing it’s catered to the Korean taste and way of consuming coffee like they would at Starbucks (volume vs quality)

Food Now this is the important part. It is meticulously prepared. And u can see it evidently from the way it is prepared by the chef even to the way it taste. We had the big breakfast and avocado toast - and it doesn’t disappoint. Sizing and ingredients are were perfect. The home made vegan bread is quite something else!

I have had many Aussie breakfast - and this may not be the biggest in terms of servings (and it doesn’t have to be) - but it’s one of the highest quality brekkie I have had.

Do expect a bit of a wait for ur food. But that’s really reasonable given it’s all prepared right in front of u…and it’s not like the chefs are taking the piss and not doing anything

We found a gem in Hongdae, Seoul. Lucyd is the dream effort by husband and wife team. Their dream restaurant is serving up the best Australian brunch in Seoul.

My wife and I had a mouth watering experience with their mushroom and guanciale soup with their homemade vegan bread. Wow! Delicious. My wife then got the Avo on toast and I got the Steak and eggs. I was going to start reviewing the Avo on toast, but I ate the steak and eggs.

In Korea it's difficult to find a decently cooked steak. This steak was perfection. 200g Sirloin at least 2 inches thick perfectly cooked medium rare, that makes my mouth water just thinking about it. The steak was paired with spinach, mushrooms, chimichurri on their delicious vegan toast. Every bite was flavorful, to the point my scalp started to sweat from the joyful increase in adrenaline induced comfort from eating.

The Avo on toast was refreshing, busting with color from with fresh hierloom cherry tomatoes, avacodo and herbs, on the delicious homemade toast paired with a pickled tomatoe salsa.
