This restaurant just opened, but it is run by people who have been working in the vegan restaurant scene for a long time! At present, their menu is very similar to another vegan restaurant called Maru Jayeonsik Kimbap (most of the staff used to work there before), but this may change over time. The menu currently includes modern Korean dishes, street food, Asian fusion food and even Western-style sandwiches, which have been veganized with mock meat, vegan egg alternatives and more!

There are dishes with rice, noodles, dumplings and deep-fried foods. Some dishes definitively are better than others, but it generally tastes okay. My favorite here is probably the fried soy chicken, because it is crispy and has a nicely chewy and stringy texture!

Portion size is quite large and prices are comparably low. If you order from the menu section called "meals 식사", you will get 1-person-dishes. If you get something from the "cooking 요리" section, you will get very large portions that are normally shared among a couple of people.

The restaurant is in a traditional Korean house (hanok 한옥), which has been modernized. There are a couple of different eating areas, e.g. a separate room and a small courtyard in the center. Personally, I find this setting quite beautiful! The restaurant is located in a quieter part of Ikseondong (a hip restaurant area), next to the shopping...

Delicious vegan restaurant! Served and owned by fellow vegans! As a solo traveler, I just want to try everything. So I got the bibimbap with an egg. This is their number 1 item, and I could see why. I ate this in less than 5 minutes. But I also ordered the Kim chi fried rice, which also comes with an egg. Everything was so good. Comes with a side of bean sprout type of soup and a couple bonchons. I devoured almost everything. The server was concerned and said not to feel pressured to eat everything. He even brought a takeaway box early. I did the best I could!

The server was extremely friendly in describing all the foods. Checking in from time to time. Before I left, I told all the workers how delicious and full I am. The server even introduced me to the workers. They were all super friendly. Found out that they were all vegans. No problem coming from a while away to support this business. ...

Loved everything about this cute, vegan place! The service was amazing & the man who was serving us was so sweet & funny 🤣 amazing food - we had the new year’s rice cake dumpling soup, vegan tuna kimchi fried rice & „chicken“ mushroom tang su yuk (all vegan). Everything was delicious, we all loved it. We had another couple next to us visiting from England, had the most wonderful convo that could be sensitive to some, but all were super open minded. Loved atmosphere - traditional Korean place, very cute (felt like on TV series!). Usually vegan Korean foods are traditional (Buddhist) temple foods, but it was rly unique to taste contemporary Korean dishes but vegan version! Highly recommended, I am making it a new tradition to come back here every time I visit Korea - starring & hearting this...

I loved the fried-dumplings & also the dumplings in the rice-cake dumpling soup were amazing, the broth of this soup was too good (yummy!). I found the rice-cakes in the soup to be a little more chewy than I expected but that just might be me. Bibimbap was great too. Service was excellent. The staff at the counter knows/speaks basic english words. His interaction with us was pleasant. He always had a smile on his face while talking with us🙂 Also, their old menu showed Jjolmyeon on the list but they no longer offer Jjolmyeon now. Their new menu does not offer Jjolmyeon. Initially, I was a little disappointed as I really wanted to try their Jjolmyeon but all of their other food-items like Bibimbap, fried-dumplings and the delicious dumpling soup that we got; compensated for it so all good😊👍
