Great restaurant near our hotel and is a very heart warming family style restaurant. There is only one guy serving and cooking, not sure if he is the boss. The chicken is boiled to tenderness and the rice in the chicken is so soup just like sticky chewy rice. The soup is filled with ginseng fragrance and is very light which make a good winter day soup! Worth a visit if you are in Gongno district.

I searched in Naver maps and found this place close to the hotel in Insadong. Samgyetang cravings sorted. It took awhile to find because there were no English signs outside, but luckily a reviewer in Google posted the front of the restaurant. It's a family-run place and you can tell the dishes are special. I could eat samgyetang everyday if I have to! Delicious!

Would give more stars if possible. Small place "hidden" in a street close to one of the most touristic areas of Seoul and easy to find with Google Maps. The Samgyetang is amazing and definitely worth having when in Seoul. The staff was nice and the food outstanding. Card payments are possible and no reservations are needed for lunch time.
