This was one of the rudest experiences I’ve ever had. I came in feeling good, but I’m leaving completely disgusted. The older man working here was unbelievably rude. When I tried to order, he ignored me and just walked past as if I didn’t exist. Another customer asked about extra chairs, and he turned around and clicked his tongue in annoyance. When I asked if the pancake (bindaetteok) would take more than 30–40 minutes, he snapped, “It takes a long time,” in the most unpleasant tone possible. So I said, “Then I’ll just cancel,” and he looked straight at me and said, “That’s completely out of line.” That was incredibly disrespectful and insulting. The staff outside the food truck was unbelievably rude—the rudest I’ve ever met. My boyfriend and I politely double-checked (in Korean) if they had smaller pancakes. Instead of answering, the woman started aggressively slamming the premade pancakes in front of us, “This is the only size we have.” When we asked why she shouted at us, she replied that she just couldn’t understand why two people would want a smaller portion. Well I believe everyone has the right to choose what size they want.
