First time visiting. I love Korea and their traditional dishes so I was excited to try with all the good reviews that were on here but it was disappointing. We were offered the most expensive meat set even though we said we didn’t want it… We ended up getting some less pricy meat and some soup , noodles and wanted to share the food with my friends(myself and 2 others)so we asked for 3 more small bowls. The staff was rude and told us to use what we have and that in Korea it’s normal to use one bowl for everything so deal with it. I was put off and very dissatisfied with the service. I couldn’t enjoy the food because all the soups would be mixed together. I called the (rude)staff and politely asked again and she proceeds to tell me that we don’t have any more plates and only one per person. There was only one other family in the restaurant so no way they were out of plates. She gave up after I said I would write a review and she handed me 3 extra bowls(that she said she didn’t have)….?? Some other customers came in asking the prices of a certain dish because they hid all the prices on the menus that were sitting out in front of the shop. They left saying it was too expensive… Overall not worth your time or money. Sorry...
Read moreRaon is an absolute gem when it comes to authentic Korean BBQ. I was impressed by the inviting atmosphere and genuine Korean style that the restaurant exudes.
The interior design is tasteful, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable dining environment.
The friendly service was a standout feature, especially given that English-speaking staff members were available. (At least one). This made the dining experience even more pleasant, as communication was smooth and effortless.
The menu at Raon is very good and you jabe plenty of choices to get your bbq together. The quality and taste of the meat selections were exceptional, showcasing the mastery of Korean BBQ.

In summary, Raon is a delightful and authentic Korean BBQ restaurant. From its inviting style and English-speaking staff to the delectable menu and reasonably priced offerings, it is a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable Korean BBQ experience. Highly...
Read moreMe and my mother are currently on our last day in Seoul, and towards the start of our trip, we were approached by one of the staff stood outside who wanted us to go inside, but since we had eaten we promised to go back later at some point. I'm so damn glad we kept that promise
Tonight the same staff member was outside, and he recognised us from prior (which in itself is a great start. If the staff remember you, you know its gonna be good). We headed inside and were immediately greeted by the wonderful people running the shop. They were so polite and lovely
The food we ordered was for 2 people, which consisted of 3 different cuts of beef with wonderful marbling, a rather big kimchi pancake and bibimbap. There was alot of banchan(side dishes) and the whole of the meat itself only came to about £97(converted from ₩) The meat was cooked for us by the staff right at our table, and the person who was cooking it did it just right. The meat almost melted in my mouth when I ate it
I'd highly reccomend it, the atmosphere itself was wonderful, the staff were so lovely and the food...
