Singawon — Restaurant in Seoul

Went for an early dinner alone and was able to get seated easily. Host at front spoke good English.

Got galbitang and dumplings. I know name says seollantang but....im a big boy.

The kimchi was awesome - both the cabbage and radish. Neither were too spicy and neither were too ferment-y, both of which are qualities I prefer.

The galbitang was...okay...but the dumplings were amazing. 5 stars for the dumplings and kimchi alone.

Only complaint is they give paper cups for water so they are less structural and small so need refills more often....

Went here twice, first time was fine with the younger servers, but the second time with the old woman was terrible service. Blatantly rude, refused to allow us to order or sit in the bbq tables despite being available, slamming cups and wouldn't provide banchan, cutlery or even attempt to take an order. Definitely not a foreigner...

Amazing ox bone soup and ox tendon soup. Their kimchi is also amazing. All at very reasonable prices. We would have come here several times had we not discovered this place on our last...
