Ssada Gimbab Jongno(싸다김밥 종로관철점) — Restaurant in Seoul

The food is alright, nothing to rave about, not bad, but there are better shops within this price range or lower in the area.

Our issue was that we came here after classes, it was four of us, all good at first we ate and some of us were thinking on ordering additional food when the waitress told us to leave when we were done eating, we were surprised at her request, we paid and left.

To clear up, the place was not full, and did not need the table for customers waiting, and yes we are students, but don't let that make you think it was a group of loud teenagers, our group ranges between 44 to 53 years of age, we are all professionals studying Korean.

We will definitely not come back here again. Off all my time here in Seoul, this is the first time I have encountered this issue. Everywhere we have gone and go back to have always made us...

This is a gimbap restaurant with the most extensive menu I've seen. They have everything from gimbap to katsu to curry to ramen to spicy noodles. It's an overly extensive menu that doesn't seem to specialize in gimbap or anything else. That said, the gimbap is good enough and huge. The curry is spicy and memorable but the katsu doesn't taste fresh. It sort of tastes like it's been on a heat tray. Sides and sauce are self service. Super delicious big variety of food and it is cheaper than most places! Despite very little reviews written, the place is clearly super popular for locals. There are menus in English (which can be hard to find haha) and the staff is very kind and helpful towards us as tourists. Highly recommend this restaurant!
