I would like to express my gratitude to the young girl who is filled up with service spirit when she is at work. She is very hardworking and she is kind and helpful to assist me to look for my keen products and share her points of view on the products according to my need and like.

There are many branches in Seoul and please avoid the store at Myeong-dong. Few storey as well, but the staff was very rude.
I was there yesterday and I was asked to shift to a corner when I carried a luggage. Thereafter, another guy approached me and asked me not to sit on my luggage as the store won't allow sitting, even on my own belonging at a corner. That was weird and the guy was rude when told me, "you cannot sit here" !
I was felt insulted when my first day at Olive Young, though I had made few hundreds US$.
Thankful to Yeonho who has reversed my judgement on the poor service level that Olive Young can give their shoppers.

Read moreThe staffs at the 1st floor are extremely rude especially, (1) a young girl with blonde hair being extremely aggressive and severely discriminating against foreigners. She questioned us rudely with an unwelcoming attitude when we were discussing at an empty area near the queue regarding the 3 full bags of products chosen from the shop before payment. She could have politely asked us to stand elsewhere to avoid blocking the traffic. After a few minutes, a crowd formed again at the area shown in the photo for quite sometime and she did not take action to ease the crowd at that area. This shows that she was discriminating against the foreigners and had an inconsistent working attitude.
(2) the only male cashier at that time was extremely unfriendly with an angry face.
Although the staffs at the 1st floor that we encountered were extremely rude, a promoter at the 3rd floor was patient in describing the products to us. This was the reason why we bought 3 full bags of products that cost about 500k won.

The lady who served me finding product plus the ladies in the checkout were super rude and with a attitude, specially to non koreans or have darker skin colour. The treatment is totally different. Worst service ever and they act like we are there to get freebies and not buy any products. The lady at makeup floor today almost shouted at me like i was a kid. Very embarrasing for a big brand like Olive young to have staff that have attitude and show no respect to customers. I have travelled to so many countries but this service and encounter tops it all. I even spoke with the floor manager - 2 of them and asked if i can get the employees name so i can review but they didnt give her name.
