I want to preface with I'm a foreigner so my lack of understanding norms is probably the largest thing at play here. I came with my partner and given it's called a bagel shop I was assumed buying a bagel and a drink would be enough to sit in. I was told that "bagels are optional and you need to buy one drink each to dine in". This really rubs me the wrong way. We did concede and buy to drinks but the first choice for a second drink was sold out and wasn't listed as such. We went upstairs to sit and it was nearly empty inside. Feels like a fools decision to turn away business and force a purchase of a second drink we really didn't want. I know I won't be back on this trip because of this experience.
As for the rest of it all. The vibe is super cute and well done, the atmosphere is lovely. 5/5.
The bagels from my American point of view are not very good. Mine was a cheese bagel and we bought creme cheese to go with it. The bagel had large air pockets and the cheese seemed like American cheese. It was very sweet and light. I was unfortunately quite disappointed with the taste and I would not recommend this place for bagels.

The bagel turned out super soft and chewy, with a fresh, vibrant scallion flavor. The spicy kick was also great! Definitely a must-try for scallion lovers
2/ Jeju Hallabong Bianco Orange Latte ๐โ The orange latte wasnโt sweet at all, but the unique Jeju Hallabong orange flavor added a slight bitterness, giving it a very distinctive taste
3/ Fig Financier The moment I took a bite, it instantly reminded me of the red date cakes I used to have as a child. Not too sweet, just right for me

ย ย ย Read moreIโm not sure if this is the same Susanghan Bagel Coffee shop, since the one I visited were a smaller shop, more to-go kind of setup. Nevertheless, everything about this little bagel and coffee shop was fantastic! The bagels were delicious, both the savory and sweet options. The coffee was great too .... We ended up going there twice for a quick breakfast before catching the subway at Hongik University Station.
The server/worker was very friendly, polite, and cute too! And he...
