One of the worst hotel experiences for me. Let me start with the only good thing about the place and that is the location you’re 5 minutes away from Hongdae street and 2 minutes from Hapjeong station. |Check in was horrible especially the staffs attitude. Was not friendly and did not smile. The photos you see on their website are totally different to what you see in real life of their rooms. I arrived the hotel around 09:00 they wouldn’t give me an early check in even though I requested it a week before, so I paid the extra (60,000Won) because I was really tired and just wanted a room to rest. Once I got to the room it was so small , mould in the bathroom, dust on the phone and cupboards. The rate is so high for a standard room and should not be paying so much for something that isn’t maintained well and regularly. Went back down to complain about the room or ask if they could change it however nothing available. So I ended up paying another extra for the suite for an extra 2 days. Atleast it was better , still dusty in areas , broken lamp and fused bulbs. I stayed there 2 days and transferred to a normal room , I was forced to checkout at 12pm expecting my standard room to be ready but no it wasn’t . No sense of anticipation. Which made no sense , now I have to leave the hotel and return back at 3pm to collect my other room. Same experience with my normal room , better than the first but still mould in areas, dusty , not well maintained and fused light bulbs. I had a late flight and I asked if I could get a late check out they said no and asked to pay extra 10,000 for each hour. Again seems to have no sense of care. Like I said my overall experience here was the worst I’ve had. They really need to clean up, maintain regularly, fix the mould problems, and look into doing a major revamp. Read moreI have booked this property long before I arrived as I had have business meetings in the surrounding area.|I requested early check in as my flight was scheduled to land at 4:35AM.|It was landed earlier and I was in the property at 5:30AM.|Basically they just do not care what you requested...check-in time is 3:00PM and full stop...firstly I tried to explain to the that I have a 8:30 AM important business meeting and I only want to take a shower and change to suits...well their English as good as my Korean...:) everybody were so tight and inflexible! After about 20 min argument they told me they do not have a type of room available what I nooked and fully paid in advance but they have a higher priced one which is empty. I asked them how much is the price difference ( RACK rate...even so I have paid a discounted price originally). They said it would be around US$ 80....(originally I paid US$ 120 /night including breakfast) so I said go ahead and let me change and take a shower then i will move to my original room afterwards.|Well they told me that they cannot do this only if I pay for an extra night ( this time was already 6:30AM)....I thought they are joking...but they did not...well I decided to go to a nearest coffee shop till my meeting starts.|In my meeting I have told the story to our Korean clients and explained them why I am not worrying suits....they were astonished as we!|This hotel wont last long with this...
Read moreFirst time stay in this hotel, our flight landed quite early around 7am. When I reached the hotel to drop my luggage is around 9am and i ask for possibility of early check-in. The receptionist told me maybe after 12pm can try ask again so we left the hotel. We return to the hotel around 12:45pm and ask about the early check-in this time is another receptionist (Girl) she told us there is no room available now because still cleaning, and i ask when the cleaning will be done. Her answer was 3PM. Me and my husband is really exhausted after 7 hours flight and few hours of waiting. ended up I decided to wait at their lounge area take some rest. Around 2:15 pm my husband ask again is the room ready, now change to another receptionist told us there is room available but have to pay 20,000 KRW /hour for early check-in. We actually willing to pay for early check-in but no one inform us early but just ask us to wait until 3PM.
The location not bad around 3mins walk to train station, nearby also got a lot of coffee shop & convenience store.
However, I booked for a couple room they only provided one big towel for 2 people. Tried to call reception ask for towel not sure they not understand or something else. Until checked out me and my husband still sharing one towel.
Lastly, my room already marked for do not disturb but still some one come in...
