I never knew how much joy I get from eating food that has all kind of spices. I've been lucky to have a mum who made us food with all kind of different spices. My mum and dad were divorced, and whenever I was at my dads, my family there would say that I smelled bad because of all the garlic and spices my mum put in the food. I'm glad I never took any offence because how greatI found happiness

My mum and dad were divorced, and whenever I was at my dads, my family there would say that I smelled bad because of all the garlic and spices my mum put in the food. (This was in the 90s) I'm glad I never took any offence because how great isn't life with some spice in it? Oh, you came here for a review of the restaurant, not my life! All right, all right.. So I had booked the all inclusive at the hotel where I was saying, because the food got so good reviews, I thought it was a good idea! Bear in mind, I forgot that the general age at the hotel was 60+ years, so I did not think the food would be that bland😔

2 days after arriving Tenerife I found myself walking the streets of Playa Fañabe when I smelled this gorgeous smell, it filled me with life and joy. I followed the smell and it took me to the less fancy looking Ganges Tandoori. It doesn't look like much, but they are ever so inviting. The service is impeccable. They are so hospitable and nice. (I'm traveling solo, so it goes a long way).

I had the butter chicken the first time, spicy! (yes, I know it's weird to ask for a butter chicken spicy), but they accommodated me, and of my gawd! I felt happiness flow through me! The second time I walked in the restaurant smelling all the wonderful food I felt the feeling of being in love 🥰 yeah, might be that I'm missing it in my life, but if you need your fill of love, please come here ❤

The food left me feel happy, full and a little bit sad to be leaving it behind as I was going back to Norway the next morning.

EXCELLENT We've searched various towns n villages trying to find a genuine Indian restaurant and can't believe we end up finding one in Costa Adeje where every 2nd eatery is owned by the same family. Genuine Indian n Goan food, as well as an international menu served by friendly, welcoming staff.

The quality of the food is seriously high, better than many places along the curry mile!, and the restaurant large enough that you shouldn't need to worry about seating.

Prices are ... (dont tell them!!) seriously low! especially when you take the quality of the food and size of the portions into account. DON'T panic, young hiker, if you don't see your personal favourite on the menu as the kitchen staff are happy to recreate it for you from YOUR description (learn the ingredients!!) and seem to enjoy the break from the routine.

Service on our 1st visit was provided by Lucky, who was extremely friendly and capable.

IF I can complain about anything then it has to be the neighbours who seem to be trying to kill the ambience by playing thus thus garbage far too loudly, n lets face it, no one at Ganges Tandori can be...
