Service was disorganised from the start. Items from our order were missing, and we had to chase them multiple times. The bread we ordered arrived when we were already finishing our meal. The food itself was average at best—burnt, bland and disappointing for the price.

After lunch, we ordered coffee with Baileys. Instead, we were served something different in a small espresso cup. When we politely explained that this was not what we had ordered, a staff member from behind the bar—an older man, around 50, short, with a bald head, glasses, and a larger build—came over and began shouting at us.

He insisted that the Baileys was in the cup and dismissed our feedback. When we calmly tried to clarify, he became increasingly agitated and defensive, saying, “You’re not going to come here and teach me how to do my job.” I told him there was no need to be disrespectful, but instead of backing down, he raised his voice even more and continued the confrontation.

We finished our drinks quietly and left, hoping to avoid any further conflict. But as we were walking away, the same man came out of the restaurant, confronting us again in an aggressive manner, asking “What is your problem?” and raising his voice further. When I asked to speak to the manager and for his name, he refused, saying it was none of our business, and continued shouting.

His behaviour became extremely inappropriate—he moved towards me in a way that felt intimidating, used foul language, and refused to de-escalate despite our repeated attempts to stay calm. I’m a woman in my twenties, and he made me feel completely unsafe. At one point, he even shouted insults at us as we walked away.

Other staff witnessed everything. Only one attempted to intervene, quietly asking us to leave. Several locals walking past stopped and told us that this was not the first time this man had behaved this way towards customers.

This man’s actions were completely out of line and unprofessional, and he should not be working in a public-facing role. No customer should be shouted at, insulted, or made to feel threatened in a restaurant setting.

I cannot recommend this place to anyone. There are many other restaurants on this beach where the food is better, and staff treat you with basic respect and courtesy. Avoid La Brasserie Grill and Pizzeria if you value either.

Broken glass in food & aggressive & unapologetic manager

Shocking! The worst restaurant experience in my entire life.

We visited for lunch ordered 2xcokes 1xminestrone soup & 1xpasta. Heard my wife gasping and looking at me shocked holding a shard of broken glass about 12mm that she had just pulled from her mouth after taking a spoonful of the soup. Called a waiter over who took the glass away and asked “Do you want another bowl?” No one came near us after that until we asked for the bill about 15 minutes later. The same waiter brought the bill (€5.90 for the soup deducted from bill). I asked him if he had reported the incident to the manager as no one came near us or asked if my wife was hurt. He replied that he had so I politely asked him to speak with the manager. I was unaware the manager was behind me some distance away but observing. My wife who was facing me could see him and said he “stormed” over to our table. I asked him was he aware of the incident and he replied that he was & grabbed the bill pointing to it shouting we were not charged for the soup. I paid the bill by card in front of him and asked him if he thought that something as serious as a piece of glass in food, the lack of follow up, apology or explanation was an acceptable level of customer service to him as manager. He replied that “It wasn’t glass it was plastic”. When I told him neither glass or plastic are acceptable in food, he went ballistic screaming “You want to eat for free. Leave. Leave. Get out” & proceeded to follow my wife & I out onto the street. Whilst standing in the street I told him I would be leaving a review about our experience. He then proceeded to get into my face with his chest pumped out & shouted “Write what you want I don’t care.” My wife expressed concern at his behaviour then he turned around to her got in her face again pumping his chest out at her & told her to "Shut up" In any reputable restaurant the manager would be over straight away with an explanation (was this an accident or malicious?) & an apology and not contradict a customer. This was clearly a piece of glass I believe from a wine glass as you could see the round rim on one edge of the shard. This person is not fit to be dealing with the public or working in the hospitality sector. Due to the sizeable & prominent beachfront location of La Brasserie they know they can continue to attract unsuspecting tourists & treat them with total disdain. (This is clearly evident by the lack of management replies to their reviews) I was not aware of it at the time but my advice to anyone in the same position is the established complaint procedure in Spain known as ‘Hoja de Reclamaciones’ (complaint form) that must be made available to customers by law. The authorities take these very seriously & if the trader refuses to provide one the customer can report them to the...

Came to this restaurant in may and food was lovely came back tonight we're do I start the minestrone was definitely not minestrone it had no pasta in it or garlic it was greeny colour with mostly onions and lumps of cheese horrible no taste the chicken wings were tough and looked to be off a budgie rather than a actual chicken now we get onto the main course

the triple burger was raw more like steak tartare which if that's what we had wanted would have asked for also no house sauce on it as requested even asked for it to be brought out still waiting The steak T-bone I ordered was advised none available but they'd give me a lovely juicy sirloin on the bone first attempt was cooked wrong well done instead of rare then when brought back as new steak this was rare as requested but almost 50% was fat and it was also burnt black on outside can honestly say the worst tasting streak I've ever had Asda cheap steak tastes so much better than this premium supposedly steak

Next steak a normal sirloin was also cooked wrong rare instead of well done sent back and waited ages to get a fresh one it had less fat than mine but again was burnt black and tough lacking any flavour

The next steak was a ribeye which was supposed to be cooked medium well done again cooked wrong medium rare didn't even bother to ask for it to be cooked correctly as by this point had gave up on or dinner it was again very chewy but had some flavour and wasn't burnt black so was edible but again a cheap supermarket steak is better than this

The last steak was a fillet steak which was actually cooked correctly but again for a supposedly premium steak lacked flavour or taste

Advised the waiter we weren't happy with the dinner and would like to speak with someone over this after waiting for around 20 minutes no one appeared to fix the issues or offer a solution so asked for Bill even that was a issue to get having to ask twice for it We just paid the bill for full meals as just wanted out and away from this disaster of a meal

THE TIP FOR THE MEAL I WILL LEAVE HERE THE MANGER NEEDS TO LEARN TO FIX THE ISSUE AND SPEAK WITH UNSATISFIED CUSTOMERS INSTEAD OF JUST LEAVING IT and replying here to comments that he will fix it when clearly he/she isn't as the amount of replies from them they will look into it here and it's not fixed is shocking

Wish I checked before going instead of just going back after last enjoyable visit 6 months ago on last holiday Certainly won't be returning or recommending it...

Wow! I can not believe how terrible our experience was. I get it that things can go wrong sometimes, but it seems that when you arrive at this place early, they use the leftover chicken from the day before. The buffalo chicken wings were lukewarm and overly dry. Definitely not fresh. The bbq sauce was okay. We ordered the fajitas. When they arrived, my partner started eating them, and she crunched on a piece of chicken. Over half of the chicken was dry to the point it behaved a lot like dry toast. Hard and brittle, no juice at all. I asked to speak to the manager. He instantly became defensive, telling me that this is how they serve fajitas in this country. Unfortunately for him, he didn't realise that I'm not an idiot and he hoped I would take it. He then accused my partner of eating over half of the dish. This was a compete lie, and it escalated the situation as he was now accusing us of trying to get a free meal. As you can see in the picture, this is not how chicken should be served. Attached is a picture of one of the pieces of chicken I was able to take before he hurried the dish away . Also attached is their advert outside showing how it SHOULD be served. Quite different to how he tried to say it is always served so dry. The waitress we had was really nice. She was polite and attentive. It's just such a shame that their manager (who I suspect is the owner given how defensive he became) is an absolute letdown for this place. The piña colada was average. Overall. The quality of the food was well below standard. The only saving grace was the black snapper fish. They didn't debone it, but it was very fresh and cooked very well. I definitely do not recommend this place. There are plenty of other great restaurants surrounding this, ones that value their customers and deliver a great service.
