Well... this place was a mixed bag. For starters, my food was very nice, I had a lovely filled pasta dish with a great sauce and lovely presentation. I had a wine paired with it and was satisfied despite the smaller portion size. A few of my friends also had nice meals but went for safer options like spag bol and lasagna. However, one of my friends went for a seafood pasta with squid and was halfway through his meal before he found spines still in some of the squids. These spines are clear and look very similar to plastic. He found a few before deciding to stop eating due to the squid most likely not being cleaned properly. Additionally one of my other friends ordered a risotto that was an incredibly dubious colour, while having red wine in it would've made the colour odd the almost vibrant purple was not natural. Finally, the garlic bread was a pathetic excuse for garlic bread, something so simple just made badly. A store bought bun sliced in half with a wiff of garlic and overcooked until teeth brakingly crunchy, just odd. Our waiter was very erratic and kept saying "Shibadee!" With each movement, not necessarily a bad thing, it made for some fun entertainment. However when the squid issue was brought forward he became very defensive and returned to my friend with a Google translate telling my friend that he was wrong and the squid weren't dirty. We decided it would be easier to just pay the bill than argue.

While I personally enjoyed my meal and so did my other friends, the two bad meals stuck out like a sore thumb and have tainted my memory of the place. Beautiful...

We had dinner at SunSea Italian while in Tenerife and it was actually pretty good. The view is lovely especially at sunset but just a heads up it’s in quite a touristy and kind of chavy area and there was a bar below blasting music which did take away from the vibe a bit. Still a nice spot to sit and eat though.

I started with the caprese which was fresh and tasty but definitely needed more balsamic glaze. I also had this Japanese cocktail they do which was super strong but had a really nice flavour. My partner had a raspberry daiquiri that was really good and some bruschetta. The bruschetta tasted great especially the garlicky flavour but it was served on a thick bun type base which felt a bit wrong. Would’ve been loads better on sourdough or a thinner toast.

For mains I had the lasagne which was alright. It could’ve been more tender and saucy and I think the mince needed cooking down a bit more but it still kind of hit the spot. My partner had the tordelli which was pretty good too.

Service was great though. Staff were lovely and really attentive.

I’m giving it four stars just because I feel like there are a few little tweaks that would make a big difference but if you’re nearby and fancy some Italian it’s definitely worth...

Very disappointing experience at this 'restaurant' Firstly you are just sat in a random area which is surrounded by loud bars blasting out music so the atmosphere isn't great.

We had a particularly poor experience with the waiters. One lady was incredibly rude and miserable. The male waiter was visibly drinking spirits in view of the guests and was drunk/stumbling about the place.

We waited AGES for our food and when it did arrive it turned out to be completely the wrong things which were then taken off our plates and given to another table. The guy was insistent that it was what we ordered and when we corrected him you could tell he realised that although he took our order he hadn't put it through. This meant we were basically ofdering again and 3 couples that came in after us got their food before us. It eventually turned up after an hour of our original order.

When i went to say something at the end of the meal the guy pretended to not understand what i was saying about the mix up in our order. Instead he rather performstively got us both a menu and said "ohh but kitchen is closing soon."

Very disappointing and we won't...

Went for 1st time yesterday which coincided with a new menu. Got there early to get one of the prime tables looking towards the sea, was only one other couple there but it quickly filled up. Service from Sergio and his staff was attentive but not "in your face", a complimentary glass of Cava was offered as we perused the menu. The food was excellent, the pasta was perfection and both plates were sent back empty. I was keen to try the Cannelloni Sicilian and it was divine, as was the chocolate Tarte my wife had (forgot to take pictures apart from attached). We finished off with a barraquito which was one of the best we have had on the island. If you love Italian food cooked properly then you will not be disappointed.
