Toro Tapas & Grill — Restaurant in Adeje

I ate very well there on my vacations in 2020, 2021 and 2022 and always on my birthday. Today, however, I am more than shocked. Wanted to eat there with my girlfriend and family. There were a lot of two tables free but a more than annoyed waiter just shook his head. It would be no problem to put two tables together. Also, all four tables were only occupied by two people. One waitress was more busy cleaning cupboards on a chair than setting one of the many free tables. But that's a good way to lose regulars. If you no longer need it and don't care, then gladly and never again!

You can see that you can't even deal with criticism. It was more important to you to have piles of tablecloths on tables and three free 2-person tables instead of serving one and to consider whether they could really be regular guests from the last few years. I'll post the picture from last year and 2021 now and I can post the others when I'm back home because I no longer have them on my cell phone. how do you come to agree that the dates were closed. I wrote "and always" which means we were with them on different days and also on my birthday! This is not on 30.11 to as you just claim it!

we didn't seek shelter from the rain. We drove to them by car and parked in the parking lot opposite, as we do every year. So your statement that we were only there because of the rain is not true either. Then we could have gone to eat in one of the many other restaurants. But no, we wanted to go to them like every year. We also walked back to the car through the rain after their rude rebuff. So please don't say things that aren't true. I can also prove that with the photo of the parking permit that I parked there and came directly to them! Because we were there at 15:24. Should I also send a photo of my time thing? No, that's the end of it for me now. I'm not going to let such an unfriendly waiter ruin my vacation.

I’d give no stars if I could! Myself, partner and young son stopped here for a drink while passing yesterday. Straight away we were greeted with the most unfriendly manner from the “owner” no people skills whatsoever - So rude with no manners. My partner asked what beers they had on draft to which he looked irritated. I asked for the wifi but couldn’t get it to work so snatched my phone to do it himself. We came to pay the bill which was slammed down in front of us. I needed the card machine and he said he didn’t have one and wanted cash only this wasn’t made clear when we sat down and ordered. We said he could either take card payment or we wouldn’t be paying - amazingly turns out he did have a card machine. I guess the only saving grace for this Business (and I use that term very loosely!) is that there is a lot of passing trade and they don’t need loyal customers nor would they value them! Avoid like the plague. Terrible food & unfriendly waiter. Complained about the food & waiter wasn’t interested a still charged us full price even though we had left most of it uneaten when sending it back & complaining. Your reply is not true. You never offered to change our horrible Tapas when we complained. You were just offhand & rude with no apology for your lousy food & unfriendly attitude. Your restaurant was empty apart from us. No wonder when all the other restaurants near you were busy. We only stayed because of the good reviews which you failed to live up to.
