Cannot recommend this experience enough. I have been on larger whale watching boats, but because of their size you don't really get close to the action. This was a more intimate experience.

The boat seats 10 people- two rows of 2 at the front, and two rows of 3 behind, with the captain and guide standing at the back. Bring water and sensible shoes. Sunscreen is a must. The boat was a little rough returning to the marina, so consider taking sea sickness precautions beforehand.

I was attracted to this company because of the boat size and the fact that they are accredited with several environmental charters- meaning they are respectful of the environment and animals. Captain John and our guide Anna really embodied this- stopping to check on potentially injured/sick animals and picking rubbish out of the water. I really admire them for that. They both were very knowledgable and excellent at spotting where the animals would pop up. We even listened to the whales' calls using a hydrophone (underwater microphone).

We didn't see any resident dolphins or rarer migratory whales, but we saw many pilot whales, a couple loggerhead turtles and lots of seabirds. I think dolphins might be more active in the mornings- we went on an afternoon trip. We saw a few large male pilot whales, and later, a pod of mother pilot whales with their babies came right up to the boat. The view of the coast and Teide was also amazing.

I really appreciated this company's approach, stopping the boat and letting the whales come to us if they wanted to. Anna also takes pictures and sends them to you via Google Drive- you can bring your own camera at your own risk. Photos are my own, but Anna took similar. It can be difficult to steady yourself for photos so you might struggle depending on your ability and equipment. You can stand for a better look when the boat engine is off.

Unforgettable for animal lovers. Thank...

We had a tour on 12th July with Whale Watch Tenerife SL. A day before that our tour was cancelled due to bad weather conditions. On the 12th the weather was better and they said, they will launch the tour. After leaving the port my wife got a panic attack, because of the huge waves hitting and tossing the boat. We asked them to turn back and we got out from the boat. It was unexpected for both of us, as she never had any problems before traveling with a boat either in greece or in northern Germany. It took maximum 5 minutes from starting the engine until we left the boat. After the tour my friends (who actually participated in the tour) asked for refund for us, but they just refused it, with the following text: "We are happy to know that you enjoyed seeing the beautiful wildlife. Unfortunately we can not do the refund for your friend. Have a good afternoon, Ely" I can accept, that I don't get refund, because it was my decision to leave the tour and stay with my wife, who was shaking and crying from fear. But not even getting any offer for some kind of compensation, or get back her part of the fee is just really unprofessional, unfriendly and rude. Summary: 5 minutes on a boat, getting a panic attack for 110€. Thanks a lot Whale Watch Tenerife SL. I recommend to check out different companies to go for a whale watch, maybe they are more friendly and...

We had an incredible trip out whale and dolphin watching!

We booked this in the UK prior to our trip out to Tenerife. Communication through email meant we had all the information needed to ensure we were prepared for the excursion.

The trip lasted for just over 2 hours with the aim to spot pilot whales and dolphins in the sea around south Tenerife. The two men running the trip were very friendly and knowledgeable. They made us feel welcome and made the trip out on the boat interactive. They worked hard to locate a group of pilot whales. Seeing these animals in their natural habitat was amazing. We also managed to see dolphins, a sea turtle and sea birds too!

The boat only holds 10 guests which I personally prefer this to larger boats. It definitely felt more personal and I really liked that the guides took pictures and shared the photos after the trip so I didn't have to worry about trying to capture my own and could just enjoy the view in front of me. As it is a rig boat, I felt like I was closer to the animals. We also enjoyed the ride on the boat going over the waves. This may not be suitable for people who do not like rocky boat rides.

Overall experience was 10/10 and I would love to come back in the winter to try and spot some...

Best experience we ever had! Everything was very professional. Ion is a great guide. Choosing a small boat instead of a catamaran gives you really close view to the dolphins and driving with fast boat on waves was fantastic! Thanks Jon lance again! I’ve attached my video to understand how close I was 😀🐬
