Google maps suggested this place to taste fresh fish, so I walked more than 1km on foot with a 1 year old child in my arms to reach that restaurant. It was 6:00 PM and when I got there the restaurant still had all the tables empty because it was still too early. When I told the employee that I wanted a place for 2 people he asked in a very rude tone if I had made a reservation, I said that I don't see the reason to make a reservation since we were only two and we were the first to arrive at 6:00 pm. He told us to leave immediately without apologizing and said that the tables were all booked and it will be more than super full(we returned after one and half an hour later just to see how the business is going, and not even half was full!!). In conclusion , this was my worst experience ever in terms of customer relations in a restaurant. I have already suggested to my friends and family to avoid this restaurant, whatever it cost, since there are big chances to catch awful, arrogant and skippable employees/stuff there, and in terms of quality/price it is not worth the risk, there are much better restaurants...
Read moreAmazing restaurant! We came here twice, if we came earlier we could revisit many more times! The chef is fantastic, she can make everything and make them so tasty. My husband doesn’t eat much seafood, so she made a tailored pasta for him and it is really delicious. The seafoods are amazing, baby scallop very fresh and flavored, king prawns mix seafood everything not only cooked but with nice seasoning and special made sources. We asked for red prawn if they can get from market the second day, and the Italian owner went for shopping, told us it is so expensive not worth it but he get some big king prawns which is also really nice. And the chef made me special black rice, yum yum. They are really friendly and warm hearted. Everyone eating here is so happy. Even the restaurant is well decorated, including the toilet. 5...
Read moreAlthough we were on time, our boat excursion left without us. The woman running the cruise was kind and we got booked for the 4pm one. So, to wait for the next one, we chose to have a leisurely lunch. She recommended Alta marea, said it was great local seafood. She was completely right!
First up were breaded langostinos. No oil on that fry, just light and tasty with an addictive dip of who knows: mango and beet? Raspberries and apple? I just wanted more.
The vongole was outstanding. Look at this photo! So many clams. Perfect pasta, tons of soft garlic.
Lubina with everything in marinara was outstanding.
The service was completely friendly and easy going. What an amazing find and perfect afternoon. I’d call it “serendipity” more...
