La Piazzetta Brasserie — Restaurant in Arona

We'll, where do we start. We arrived at 7.55 in 3 lots as there were 9 of us as we had different accommodation. The drinks arrived spasmodically and after far too long. We asked for five minutes before giving our orders, 20 minutes later our waitress returned. We dispatched our order and waited, and ordered more drinks and more drinks and waited. At 9.45 some of our main courses arrived. Tuna: excellent, Squid ink Pasta: Awful Cod: Nice Burger: tough daughter did not like Steak: asked for WellDone, Mui hecho, sin Sangre and it arrived well done on the outside but raw and bloody on the inside. I returned it myself as the Maître D looked on disdainfully, I looked at him but he shunned me asking for one of his waiters to take up my case. His bright orange tie distinguishing himself from the other staff. Mixed Grill, burnt, basically sausage and a steak which tasted burnt. Chicken escalope: Good

Vegetables, chips and Canarian potatoes didn't arrive until we had more or less finished our meals after complaining. The orange tied boss not electing to make eyes with me or any of my guests. (We speak Spanish and my son & daughter are bilingual) I paid the bill and we left with at no time, anyone asking if we enjoyed it. We were there for 3 hours with one course and a round of drinks after our meal. There were plenty of staff milling around but not round us. The word is apathetic, totally apathetic. I love giving great reviews but this is as bad as it gets. Mr Orange...

We stumbled across La Piazzetta Brasserie thanks to my brother pointing it out, and what a brilliant choice it turned out to be. From the moment we walked in, the warm Italian welcome from the staff set the tone for the evening – they couldn’t have been friendlier or more attentive.

The menu is a dream for anyone who loves authentic Italian food. There’s a fantastic selection of fresh seafood, and the pizzas are honestly some of the best we’ve had – perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and made with real Italian passion. You can tell straight away that this is the real deal, with Italians running the place and bringing their heart and soul into every dish.

The atmosphere was spot on for our stag party too – relaxed, lively, and full of good vibes. We enjoyed it so much that we’re already planning to go back tomorrow for more pizza. When you find a restaurant this good, it’s impossible...

We were invited to the restaurant by a friendly gentleman. The place looked very nice, so we decided to stop by for dinner. Inside the restaurant there were refrigerators with meat, so we thought we’d try a burger made from good, real, and fresh meat. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The burger was raw in the middle, and we had to eat around it. On top of that, it’s worth noting that this is not a cheap place, and a restaurant of this standard shouldn’t be making such mistakes in preparing meat. Moreover, the burger was very dry. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t even come by to ask whether we were enjoying the food or if everything was alright. At the very end, we also had trouble paying by card – it only worked after a few minutes, as the problem was with the payment terminal. Unfortunately, we cannot...
