Palapa Beach Club — Restaurant in Arona

My wife and I had a truly memorable evening at Palapa Beach Club, located on Av. Francisco Andrade Fumero in Playa de las Américas. The restaurant is right on the beach, offering stunning ocean views, especially in the evening when the sun sets — it’s a spectacular and romantic setting, yet still feels wonderfully casual and laid back.

We started with the Goat’s Cheese Salad, which was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. For our mains, we had the Peruvian Style Sautéed Beef and the Beef Tenderloin — both dishes were absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, and full of rich, vibrant flavours. Everything came out piping hot and perfectly seasoned.

We enjoyed a few cocktails and a glass of wine, both of which were excellent and complemented the food beautifully. The staff were fantastic throughout — friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about making sure everyone had a great experience.

We were staying just across the way at the Cleopatra Palace, and having the 15% voucher was a lovely bonus, but even without it, the quality and atmosphere made it worth every cent.

All in all, Palapa Beach Club delivers a perfect mix of great food, stunning views, and excellent service. We were delighted we chose to dine here — an unforgettable evening and one we’ll definitely repeat next time we’re in...

Horrible experience. We went here several times for delicious garlic shrimp, but the service was always sooooo slow. The last time we were ignored for a long time, we had to get the menu ourselves. Then no one came to us for 20 minutes. We went to the waiter and placed our order. After that, a waitress came to us and asked what we wanted to order. We said that we had just placed our order with another waiter and she left without saying anything. We waited for 30 minutes and when we didn't even get a smoothie, we got suspicious. We called the waitress and asked what is going on with our order. Her English was bad and she called the manager, who started accusing us that we had placed our order with the wrong waiter, so we wouldn't get the food we had been waiting for 50 minutes.

So many questions: why didn't the waiter who took our order tell us that it wouldn't be prepared for us? Why did the waitress in charge of our table ignore the fact that we had placed our order with another waitress and not warn us that it would not be prepared? Why did our waitress see us sitting "without ordering" for 50 minutes and do nothing? This is a terrible...

Me and a friend visited and were blown away with the food we were served. The location, vibes of the restaurant and bar were so relaxing. It was nice to get out of the tourist traps and really enjoy the food and surroundings.

We had burrata tomatoes and pistachio pesto for starters. Which I would say you could definitely share. The pesto is tdf.

For mains cod loin with Canarian sweet potatoes(omg delicious) and caramelised onions.

Sea bream and pickled vegetables. And a side of Canadian potatoes.

The mains were stunning some of the most fresh fish cooked to perfection. Hats off to the chef 🧑‍🍳

Followed up with two special deserts the brownie lotus cheesecake and orange chocolate cake.

I would recommend this in a heartbeat to anyone. A real gem! The servers were so lovely and helpful too.the chefs here really know their way around unique ingredients and beautiful pairings.

Oh and not to forget the amazing cocktails too! Wow the jalapeño pineapple mojito.
