We came to the restaurant with the desire to eat something good. Unfortunately, our entire experience was spoiled by an arrogant and very impolite waiter. First, upon arrival and taking our seats, we waited for a long time until he finished his phone conversation and approached us. It's a typical sign of customer neglect, but perhaps it was something very important, so we can forgive that. After placing our order, we moved to another table to watch a match. However, the waiter didn't like this and instructed us to sit at the adjacent table, partially in the sun. He even tossed (yes, tossed!) our utensils in frustration and walked away. When I asked him why he was behaving so rudely, he replied that we were not allowed to change tables. At that moment, the entire restaurant was empty except for five young guys. When I asked him to call the restaurant manager, he replied that he was the manager himself. Unfortunately, the place was also dirty; there were cardboard boxes and trash scattered around the bar area....

Needing the toilet straight away I made my way to the bathroom only to be confronted by an arrogant unpleasant man questioning me as to why I was using their toilet.. when I explained we had just sat down to order. He just huffed and walked off. How rude. It was his appalling customer service that made both my wife and I walk out. As the lovely chap outside tried to persuade us to stay we explained we would be leaving due to this staff member being so rude. As we left this same staff member raised his arms at us as if to ask us why were we leaving. I told him it was because he was rude. His response was to then give us a two finger solute. I honestly couldn't believe what I was seeing. No wonder the place was empty. We subsequently went next door to the El Rincon del Pencader...

The menu is in awful condition, worn out and far from appealing. I tried €1.5 beer, focaccia (which turned out to be just a pizza base with seasoning - don’t bother ordering it), olives (they looked like the cheapest ones from a discount supermarket), and seafood paella which was watery, bland, with very few seafood pieces, and the rice was overcooked. Unfortunately, none of the dishes were impressive 😕
If you don’t care about the atmosphere and are absolutely starving, this place might work for you. But personally, I won’t be coming back.
The only positive aspect is the staff. They’re...
