Royal Doner Kebab — Restaurant in Arona

OBVIOUSLY MANY FAKE REVIEWS HERE! I believe the owners paid for them. They seem too good and too articulated for a small hidden below the road level kebab place.

They took 45 minutes to serve us 2 kebab and 2 fries . The meat was obviously not real meat , it was that kind of meat paste with many addictive and flour to add texture , more resembling tofu than meat. They didn’t even cut it from the rotating spit, they just opened the fridge took some precut meat and warmed in the oven . The fries have been cooked long before and they just reheated turn in the oven. The Two people working in this really small kitchen there were using no gloves , no mask no hair net and were really sweat, they dried their forehead with the bare hand then get some money from a customer then touch your salad and sandwich . I AM NOT JOKING THIS...

There was a screw in my kebab tortilla. My family and I stopped to grab a kebab, and everyone ordered a chicken kebab. I noticed it when I bit into my tortilla — at first, I thought it was a piece of cartilage, but when I took it out of my mouth, it turned out to be a screw. It was probably a screw that had fallen out of the machine, and it broke my tooth. After that, I told them what had happened and we decided not to eat there. When I said we were not willing to pay, they started shouting at us in total confusion. Of course, we paid for the drinks we ordered, but not for the food. When my family saw that there was a screw in my meal, they no longer wanted to eat theirs either, which is why I decided not to pay for the food. Chicken shawarma (wrap) was unexpectedly good, since I read some potentially scary reviews. Tender and well cooked meat with nice garlic sauce and vegetables. No fries in the wrap (I forgot to ask for them).

Although the place may look bit shady, very tiny, a bit disorganized and giving the impression of not the best hygiene practices. A single person serving and cooking.
