I walked in a few days ago to make a reservation to celebrate my birthday dinner here, all confirmed for tonight (name, number of people and which table) and was promised a surprise for my bday. Was looking forward to this dinner!
Earlier today I walked in to ask if they serve wodka and cola zero: yes. Arriving this evening there was a girl I never seen before, not the lady I made the reservation with. The agreed table was not free.. and she didnt know anything about a reservation......! Found another table and sat down. The atmosphere in the room was so weird. It was quiet and tense like in a school exam, I felt this and my friends later said the same. Normally the music is a little louder, there is a nice RnB playlist and the waiters usually have a nice, fun energy, but tonight it was just boring. Although several customers (max 5 tables) inside the vibe was so quiet and just off, a cantine in an eldery home has more spirit. Then when ordering drinks the girl told me there was no wodka(!!) Now Im getting pissed, because I specifically came in earlier to ask for this. In the end there was just enough for 1 drink, fine. But before we got these drinks it took almost an hour, and they came 1 by 1. Honestly it was not busy (when we arrived every customer had their food already), I dont understand why we had to wait so long. Then we ordered food and 1 dish was forgotten. When I asked how much longer she thought it would take, she then took it as an order as if we didnt already ordered it tome ago. And I just want to mention, eventhough it was supposed to be a nice gesture, the mentioned special birthday surprise was obviously also not present. Not idea what it was. Doesnt matter.
I strongly got the feeling the girl was a emergency waitress, because it looked like she had no clue what she was doing although she was trying. I dont blame her personally. All and all I am just disappointed with the over all experience at A Vocado's for what supposed to be a special dinner. I was really looking forward to celebrating my birthday at this place with my friends and expected a decent service, vibe, experience. The food was...
Read moreI recently dined at Avocado Restaurant, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience overall! The menu is creative, vibrant, and caters to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences. Here's a quick rundown of what I tried:
The avocado toast was absolutely divine—perfectly seasoned with a lovely balance of textures.
The traditional nachos were a hit, generously topped with guacamole and all the right toppings.
The cold-pressed pineapple coconut drink was refreshing and complemented the meal beautifully.
The cappuccino with oat milk was smooth and velvety, a treat for coffee lovers.
The avocado chicken wrap was fresh, flavorful, and filling.
The crispy chicken poke bowl had a great combination of crunch and zest.
The veg falafel burrito with vegan yogurt was another highlight, satisfying and wholesome.
The only dish that fell short for us was the Chicken Tinga tacos. They didn’t quite hit the mark for our palate, but that’s just personal preference—it might be someone else’s favorite!
Despite this, everything else was exceptional, and the service was top-notch. The ambiance is also worth mentioning: cozy, welcoming, and perfect for enjoying a good meal. Highly recommend this gem to anyone who loves fresh and...
Read moreI’m not sure why this place is rated this well. Was looking for a dinner place with some friends and we hadn’t made a reservation. We had our hopes up after we stumbled upon this place and we were able to be seated immediately. The place looks nice on the inside.
Our table ordered a variety of pizzas and tacos. The chips and guacamole we had as an appetizer were pretty good. When the pizzas arrived to the table, all of them were incorrect or missing ingredients. The server read us back what we had ordered and despite this every single pizza was missing at least 2 ingredients. 2 of the margarita pizzas came entirely plain- just cheese. We were in a rush so we didn’t have time to have the pizzas remade, and the food did come out in a timely fashion.
The tacos were not good. They smelled weird and the chicken was sweet but in a bad way.
The pizzas, aside from being wrong, were also not great. I liked the crust but the others at my table did not. We all agreed that there was not nearly enough sauce. At this point, two of our pizzas were essentially glorified cheese bread.
A friend that asked to bring their remaining pizza home was...
