During our visit to Loto restaurant in Barcelona, we had an extremely unpleasant and shocking experience: Food Issue: We ordered a salad that contained vinegar, which we are allergic to. We politely requested the staff to replace the dish with one that did not contain vinegar. Instead of addressing the issue respectfully, the servers were dismissive and rude. Rude Staff: The two servers, a man and a woman, were extremely unprofessional and refused to have a proper conversation with us. Their attitude made it impossible to resolve the situation calmly. Police Called: To our surprise, the staff called the police simply because we requested a replacement for the dish. This was an overreaction and completely unjustified. Refusal to Involve Management: When we asked to speak with the manager or any responsible authority, we were told we could not talk to anyone in charge. The staff flatly refused to escalate the matter and continued to act rudely. Outcome: In the end, we had to pay for the meal, even though the dish was not replaced and our request was completely ignored.
This incident was deeply upsetting and left us feeling disrespected and mistreated. We strongly believe this kind of behavior is unacceptable, and we would not recommend this...

Read moreBefore we ended up here, we spent about an hour looking for a Thai place, and overall it was a pleasant experience. I liked the ambience of the place and decorations, although it was funny that they played western music, I kinda expected something from Asia. The waitress was great, taking care of the whole floor by herself. The restaurant also had tablet computers with pictures of the food, very modern of them. The food was mostly nice too, but just a bit lacking. The appetizers were either too salty or not flavorful enough (except for kimchi, it was perfect). I also loved rollitos nem rán. However, tom yum soup, while tasty, it didn't have enough depth, heat or intensity for me. Harumaki had lovely ice cream, but the roll was just too mild in flavor. So, the whole meal was a mixed bag for me. It was almost there, but not hitting the right notes in the end. Would I visit it again? Yeah, probably, cos I think maybe other dishes would suit my taste...
